They sound almost feasable. Speaker Tongue sounds the same vein as Eyeball Tickler and Some Day... sounds very Liam.

It's not the "tracklisting"... it's the "tracketlisting"
- wiki :
Single Tracketlisting:
1. The Shock of the Lightning -(N.Gallagher) 2. Speaker Tounge - (A.Bell) 3. Someday Will Never be Today- (N. Gallagher)

Webby, any chance of you changing the name of this section to 'Fiction and Fiction'? Haha. Seriously, these Wikipedia posts are never and will never be accurate. "Jealous Buns" did make me laugh though.

ALLLLL THE PEOPLE That period ended with definitley maybe. Noel wrote every word and every note for Oasis from Definitely Maybe to Be Here Now (the golden era of Oasis). The minute he let Liam songs appear on an Oasis album, the band was dead to me. Liam, Andy and Gem are writing half the damn album now! How can anyone support that crap.

Maybe that is just another example of Noel's Beatles fetish? Maybe he has wanted a band with 4 songwriters from the start. Anyway they have written some good stuff, like Hung In A Bad Place, Thank You For The Good Times, Keep The Dream Alive, A Bell Will Ring, Better Man, Love Like A Bomb, etc. these are all good tunes played by oasis and sung by Liam who gives a shit who wrote them?

Noel always said he wanted to be in a band in its truest sense of the word, that being everybody writing songs and contributing, it's just that the rest of the band never showed an interest in writing and he wasn't going to drag it out of 'em, Bonehead was always on the piss, Guigsy on the spliff, Liam was being Liam and being on everything, and Alan was the drummer.

I can't stand 4 of those 6 songs, so I guess that's the problem from my perspective.

I think it was inevitable that the band were going to have a bit of a slump, as that is just how things go. You can't always be on top. Even if you don't like "Little James", it's not as if PYMWYMI set the world on fire. I do think if they had gone away after Knebworth and let the "hype" of the band build (like Noel has mentioned) then they could have maybe sustained a bit more of their peak in popularity, even then, it's touch and go coz by the time they had come back, daft bands like Limp Bizkit would probably have been the new "in" thing.

I was refering to a LIAM sung and NOel written albums.. that ended with Definitley Maybe... the rest of your post is rather sad..your missing out on alot. But I guess some people don't do well with change...
