Has it ever been confirmed that Liam actually wrote the leaked demo They Got Nothing on Me, They Got Nothing on You? Its seems most are speculating he did given the "simplicity" of the song, but it may have been written by Gem (or someone else). Manchester's monkey nut Liam Gallagher has written a song about being banged up in the slammer.
The rebellious rocker wants to include the track, 'They Ain't Got Nothing On Me, They Ain't Got Nothing On You', on the next Oasis album. Playing the tune to The Who's frontman Roger Daltrey at one of last week's Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in London, he told the Sun: "I'm really pleased with it but it's not finished."
With one line saying: "I'm out on bail, I'm out of jail, hear my song, sing along," it's the fifth tune to be penned by Liam and was inspired by his spell behind bars in Munich last December.

I feel that one of the "many gems" implies them as "special songs" as opposed to Gem Archer's.

I feel that one of the "many gems" implies them as "special songs" as opposed to Gem Archer's. yeah man, you're right there! The Riddler also did not wrote 'many gems' with a capital 'g'. So the meaning of 'one of the many gems on this album' is: one of the many ace song of the album!

Yeah, but is the riddler not known for strange plays on words, he would of used something else rather than gem then to avoid ambiguity. I think he meant it...

He's a riddler, we have to read into what he says, hence his username!
If we just read it all in black and white we would still be looking at a bunch of latin clues going "That isn't even a real language!"...

Yeah, I hope we're talking Columbia "monotonous", not Put Yer Money Where Your Mouth Is "monotonous".... Yeah same here, if the covers anything to go by, its gonna sound pretty trippy, didnt he mention Columbia in an interview a while ago when talking about the new stuff?

Yeah in the Mojo interview he described the "groovy" sound as Columbia-esque.

I. For the more mature Oasis recording an album just becomes more of a challenge , says Noel. Shock of Lighting sounds instant and compelling because it was written dead fast, sort of like a demo. The first time you record something is always the best, he explains. II. Shock of Lightning is an instant FM hit with the unmistakable head turning Oasis RnR power behind it III. DOUS is loaded with monotonous, hypnotic , driving tunes , a big progression from Don't believe the Truth. The lyrics deliver a bleak reality check of today's world with all kinds of biblical references embedded. IV. Gem Archer's song "To be where there's life" is just one of the gems on this high quality album. V.The albums closer "Soldier On" is a hauntingly beautiful song reflecting ones voyage through life .... There's no need to write ,like, Orthodox pop songs anymore (Noel G). Oasis are back and have raised the bar again! These look to me like snippets from magazine articles, probably interviews or reviews that are coming soon. This ain't the riddler talking, that's why the first one we already know most of it (about being 'written dead fast', and all that). If that's the case, the "one of the gems" comment is just a journalist making some wordplay in his article.
