On 13th July 2008, Noel stated in a phone-in interview with Radio 1's Dick and Dom that the single would include (I Wanna Live In A Dream) In My Record Machine as a b-side and also a cover of The Smith's There Is A Light That Never Goes Out - a song he covered in a solo acoustic gig in Moscow in 2007. (this was in wikipedia)
i dont want to hear record machine as a b-side its a GREAT TRACK and it could be a hit in an album

I'd say that wiki entry is bullshit. We'd have heard it already if it was yesterday

well I rather see RM as b-side than an a-side in the next album, years from now... and a proper version of There Is a Light would be fantastic, live or in studio....
but those aren't gonna be in the single...

They have a Sunday Show on BBC Radio 1 from 10am - 1pm. I'm listening back to it now in case - scanning though seeing as how its a 3 hour show - hasnt been mentioned yet. Although they played Lucky Man which was good.

100% bullshit.
Just scanned through Dick and Doms show on listen again and there was no interview with Noel.
You'd think if someone was going to make something up theyd try to make sure it cant be dismissed so easily

Well even though it's complete bollocks that would be a classic single! I've been dying for a studio version of There Is A Light since he performed it live last year... his version blew me away... the melancholy feel was amazing for that song. And an epic version of Record Machine with Liam on vocals would make a b-side up there with The Masterplan. I'm planning on getting some horrible shit from Liam as b-sides so anything different will be amazing.

Quite frankly I thought "Me an' You" and whatever the name of Andy's tune was sounded more feasable. Could be good though.

I remember that, wasn't it from a kid's show theme tune that he ripped off for She's Electric? We'll see on the release won't we...

Anyway if a really bloated up RM makes an appearance it'll be some single.
