I actually thought Andy had the best songs on DBTT outside of Love Like A Bomb which was the best one of the lot. But I'd definitely like Liam to do some longer ish like BOADC again.

I enjoy some of Liam's tunes a lot specially Songbird and LLAB, but the best songwriter in Oasis always has been Noel and he still is.. for me the tracks i enjoy the most of the last two records are penned by the chief HC: Hindu Times, SCYHO, LBL and Songbird(liam) DBTT: Importance of Being Idle, Part Of the Q. Turn Up The Sun (andy)

NME just labeled Aint Got Nothing as a previously leaked demo. Should this be taken into consideration?

Did anybody notice how the currently leaked Falling Down version sounds like Coldplay?
I like Coldplay, so I'm not knocking it down.
I look forward to a breathtaking album with Dig Out Your Soul.

Not really a fan of GGTIA but LLAB is amazing. I have a feeling if ain't got nothing is on the album, it will at the very least fit with the new theme, because the demo sounds like its on DBTT.(not a bad thing, but the bare bones thing isn't my favorite)

At the risk of starting yet another wikipedia breaking news thread, i did find this on the site.
"On July 18, 2008, Jo Whiley announced that she would play the song on Radio 1 on July 21, describing it as "really good"."
Has anyone heard the show? Is it bs?

You can listen again to the shows on Radio 1s website but I wouldnt bother, theyll advertise something like this more than once. I trawled through 3 hours of Dick and Doms show to try to find out alleged info that There Is A Light That Never Goes Out and IWLIADIMRM were going to be bsides on The Shock Of The Lightning with no luck.

Don't get me wrong... I enjoyed a lot SONGBIRD and LOVE LIKE A BOMB... 'cause they were fresh and " new breeze "...and the kind of " Part I " and " Part II " of pretty much the same song... but at the end of the day, songs such as Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Little By Little, Let There Be Love, The Importance Of Being Idle... are the mega songs that will " survive " time test... Little by Little is one of Noels worst contributions to the last couple of albums, i'd take any of Liam's songs over that. It's without question the most pop structured song he's ever written. I happen to love the song, but it kinda follows the Pop Rock 101 book

She'll play the remix on Monday, not the album version.
