Why? Rapture is the rebirth of Christ when he's supposed to come back down to Earth (something like that) No, Christ has already been reborn. The rapture is the supposed event where all of his followers will be brought up to heaven, leaving the heathens down here to be ruled under the Antichrist's global dictatorship and stung to death by horse sized locusts and all kindsa crazy shit until seven years later when Jesus comes back one last time to lay the smackdown and finish us off. The word rapture isn't even mentioned in the Bible, so even a bad translation wouldn't yield that result.
