Before the interview he played w/ Noel, the DJ said it was either Oasis or a Chemical Brothers remix or a remix of the Chemical Brothers remix.

Before the interview he played w/ Noel, the DJ said it was either Oasis or a Chemical Brothers remix or a remix of the Chemical Brothers remix. he said "either way this will give us a good feel of what the record will sound like" which is just a blatant lie. the guy is a damn fool.

Jeeze Bookie. He's a goofy nerd who has angered me. I'm going downtown tonight, I should stop in and yell at him.

He has no idea. And whomever from the label sent the promos out without unambiguous details of whether its actually on the album or not needs to be sacked tonight.

People, we shouldn't be dissapointed. We got a new track that kicks some ass. Yeah, I would rather hear the album version but this still makes the weekend pretty damn good.

the reason i'm mad is that this fucker is giving people who didn't know the tune was going to be played on the show the impression that this is what the new oasis LP sounds like. What a twat this DJ is man, ugh. disgusting

I agree, DM was 14 years ago! I don't want another DM, I want something new and psichedelic. I want a mix of Standing on the shoulder of giants and Be Here Now with a bit of Revolver and SGT Pepper

Guys, this is a remix. I don't get the speculation. The album won't sound like this. Don't you think we would have heard about the Chem. Bros. before now ??

Let's all relax.
'The Shock Of The Lightning' will be the real indicator.
This may prove Noel really has a sense of humour! I can see it now...
Noel: "Those thieving, downloading, computer fans can have this to chew on for a few months. Call Rowland. This will be fun!"

Walrus....you're kind of funny! You don't want '94 again but you want a mix or 2000, '97, '67 & '66!!!
Just kiddin!

So, after reading all these duplicate threads that have been posted over the past few hours since I got in I have one question - why do Oasis fans have a reputation for being backward-thinking simpletons?

If the remix is good enough, you can imagine this song ROCKING with guitars solos............... It's gonna blow my mind for sure. Didnt anyone listen carefully to the track?? The guitar distortion in the beginning is just great.
