I dont think ive been this excited with a oasis album since bhn!
fallind down sounds brilliant and when oasis r at there best there b-sides rock more than than most bands albums and if songs like stc and iwladimrm.

anyone know what the go is with you will be crashing when you burn?? i love that song! cant wait to here a full version

None of those songs have balls. Turn up the sun is slow and boring. Hindu Times is boring. Lyla is TERRIBLE. Cliche lyrics and poppy to all hell. Meaning of Soul is only 2 minutes and its just 2 chords its shit. Eyeball Tickler I like. It does have balls. I can see it now? No? Boring as fuck. If you have an instrumental track you need to at least do something a bit more complex. Better Man is ok, but not the ballsiest thing ever.

None of those songs are as intense as what was on the early records. No guitar solos on any of those songs! Excuse me, Lyla has a 5 second lead lick thats disguised as a guitar solo...

Eyeball tickler has balls... too bad it sucks ass. Same for Meaning of Soul. This new record will have balls... I can tell by the interviews, the artwork and the band's whole approach leading up to it's release. It's gotta have at least one horrific Liam contribution (Ain't Got Nothin) to make it a modern Oasis record... but other than that... I think you'll have enough balls to make up for the last two that were all sausage and no eggs.

I have not heard any great basslines from Andy. They're all mostly just following the chord progression of the song. I haven't heard any sick guitar solos from Gem. Nothing to show me that these guys are impressive musicains. Ever.

Disagree about Andy. I think you can really tell how original and quality of a guitarist/bassist he is on his songs. Even though some people dislike A Quick Peep, it's got such a different guitar from everything else they've done, and it's also alot more complicated than anything Noel's put down. And it's really tough to tell how good of a bassist he is because he gets drowned out in concert and you never know who is playing what on the albums

forgot about a quick peep. that's a great little track. reminds me immensely of pink floyd.
