This sounds very promising! As long as it's the remix and not the proper deal I'm pleased!

I wonder if what they plan to play on the EDGE tonight is the actual song or the Chemical Brothers remix...?

Edit* Sorry, I thought this was a release from the radio station.
So do you think the song played on The Edge today is going to be the remix version?

Maybe this is the Remix Promo that is rumored to be released. That actually would make sense. Still hoping for a regular version on the edge

Maybe it can explain why a dutch Dj forum was involved in the new Oasis album with the tracklisting the last week.

From Mr. Monobrow (the 09th July) on STC board: New 12" promo "within the next 2 weeks" (Remix?) One of the big Oasis collectors, Anders Larsen ( he of www.mistersifter.com/ fame) has said he's been told a new Oasis 12" promo would be out "within the next 2 weeks", adding that "It should be a remix of a song". Can't see any reason for him to lie, he revealed the Champagne Supernova remix promos from 2006 before anyone else. Worth mentioning that in the past, the first Oasis promos from an album have not been the first single (Fuckin' In The Bushes and Can Y'see It Now'' for example.) Possibly related to the recent Oasis / Tom from Chemical Brothers work? miloco.co.uk/news/ or something solely Oasis? The Engine RoomAudio Bullys kept their April session rolling to kick-start a memorable May in our flagship studio. Interface producer/engineer Steve Dub was, as always, master of the faders. The Parisian post-punk duo John & Jehn came in for a mixing session with engineer Matt Pharrer, and then Mancunian rock gods Oasis booked out some time with Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowlands and Interface's Steve Dub. Tom and Steve also worked on some mixes for Oasis' fellow North-Westerners, Doves, and then came the American metal lords Slipknot, mixing their newest album with producer Colin Richardson and Interface engineer Matt Hyde.

If they're playing this remix (listening right now) tonight, then I think we can be assured we still know absolutely nothing about the album version of this song besides Noel's on vox and most of the lyrics. Way too electronic to resemble anything on an Oasis album.
