Acquiesce - I like this one because it's a very unique title.
Stop The Clocks - I don't know, but there's something special about the title... Maybe something mysterious. I guess it's because it was unheard for so many years.
The Boy With The Blues - Shame this wasn't on the album! Love the title!
The Masterplan - Fave song! Really good title!
Columbia - Dig the song! Really cool title too!

Come on, Live Forever is definitely the best title.

The Importance of being Idle. There's a play by Oscar Wilde called "The Importance of Being Earnest", which I read in my senior year of Higschool's English class, rather good actually....you have to wonder if the lads were somehow inspired by that title, because "The importance of...." is quite awkward phrasing....

I thought so! I heard it was from a book Noel found in his garage or something when cleaning. It's a very witty and clever song, much like the book.

Actually, at the time it was made public, I thought The Importance Of Being Idle was a terrible name until I actually heard the song. It was actually a cool title given the song's concept.
Hope that can happen with The Shock Of The Lightning. We'll see.

"Don't Believe the Truth" was a shockingly bad album title imo.

"Don't Believe the Truth" was a shockingly bad album title imo. I agree ... and Dig Out Your Soul, while better, sounds too similar to it. I'm glad it wasn't Bag It Up, though. I wish they'd use that Datura Dream Rebound, or whatever it was that was floating around, as an album title.

I'd say Gas Panic! and Lord Don't Slow Me Down are the best. Maybe Go Let It Out! too, like it when they use exclamation marks. Go Let It Out doesn't have an exclamation mark.
