It would be awesome...however I think record machine could be the hidden track "Want to live in a dream' the perfect ending to a groove album

Why would they "hide" their most anticipated/hyped up song ever?
If DOYS really is harder and groove-heavy, I don't think it fits anyway.
At some point we're going to just have to admit to ourselves that although most of us want STC out sooner rather than later, having the wish doesn't make it likely. I think your "feeling that it'll be on there" is more along the lines of the desire that it is rather than anything we have any reason at all to expect.
This is all seeming to develop pretty formulaic as far as Oasis albums are concerned anyway. I expect my feelings over the new music, the general critical reaction, etc will be much like DBTT.

I honestly think its a b-side at best. Maybe filler. The song does nothing for me.

This whole hidden track phenomenon was dreamed up by one of our own here at live4ever; Ergo, no hidden track.

After a solid month of trying to glorify the song, I just can't. To be perfectly honest, I think it likely falls in the lower third of noel's canon, therefore I can't be bothered with it anymore.

Record Machine really isnt at all very good, I dont see the love for it at all. I'm glad people like it and stuff but to me its just a verse from Who Feels Love and wholly predictable chorus. It gets slightly interesting at the middle 8 but thats it. Stop the Clocks is OK but it really is nothing more than a decent La's trinute, probably why Noel cant get it right in the studio.
I think Noel should just stick them all out as B-sides so they can be forgotten.

I really hope it's there as a hidden track, with a lot of guitars and an orchestra... but Istill don't believe it, I mean, the only hidden track I've seen was The Cage.... and that's not really a good sign...

I'm not a fan of hidden tracks- partly b/c i'm a bit of a purist, and partly b/c i don't want another 38 minute fucking track like better man to sift through (BTW, if anyone knows how to split them into 2 tracks, help would be greatly appreciated )

I have a bad feeling it will stay unreleased, it's a good thing that demo leaked...

The version that leaked is not exactly rough by any means - sure some would like to see it turned into a swirling 8-minute guitar thumping epic, but lets face it - this may be as good a version as we'll ever get. No hidden track, no B-side. Sorry lads. Maybe on a rarities album 20 years on...

Who gives a fuck. Its not a very good song in the first place. Unless Noel revamped the song from what we have heard of it so far I don't want it on the album.

If Noel put a melody to it it'd be worth it. I like the idea of an 8 minute swirling epic but can't see it being on here.

Use iTunes. Alter the start and stop times of the original track, and then use the inbuilt conversion tool to make a shorter duplicate.

well if the album has been talked about with 12 tracks, then a japanesse bonus track (those guys fookin love a bonus track or two) would seem reasonable.
