What is up with these Bible sounding lyrics and titles!? Waiting For The Rapture? UHHGGG. That can't be real can it? And SOTL is 4th, not second.

i think riddler is saying "this will stand up among the others" meaning this record will be better than all their other ones in the past. ....maybe, just my interpretation Right, the riddler seems to think this is their best album... very encouraging. Those of you who were around when DBTT leaked, can remember that the reviews for that album were not bad - most gave it a "return to form" label, others thought is wasn't all that bad, or at least the best in years... On the forum, we took this as amazing news because anything other than "the new Oasis sucks" from the media wound everyone right up. Now early reviews are saying this is their best, etc. really exciting stuff. Considering that most of us will like the new material regardless, this is great news. |

So we've got Eddith Bowman review : incredible album NRJ review : the best oasis album VOXPOP review : excellent And it's all about the same : Rock'n Roll - No STC and RM - Evolution - So Fresh Nice ! If you compare with the first DBTT Reviews... it was average. don't forget that guy on the football radio show, he heard it at gems house and thought it was mental. "sounds like the first time we heard oasis" was along the lines of what he said. |

It's interesting, you have some people saying it sounds like the old Oasis, you have Noel saying there's no hits, and then you have this latest mention of it being quite different to what Oasis normally do.

The fact that Noel says there are no hits and hasn't compared this to DM seems to be a very positive sign to me. He's doesn't feel it's necessary to play up the songs. Let the songs speak for themselves. |
