Right... so I haven't really made any bones about my intention to hop the pond for a show or two on this tour, but I'm a little discouraged because it seems that if it goes off in Oct/Nov as expected, we may not get any outdoor stadium shows at least until next year. Bands in the UK don't do stadium shows that late in the season, right?
As I see it, it'd be pointless to spend so much of my weak-ass dollars to go over and see the same fairly soulless, corporate arena show I can get in any city over here. Yes, I know its Oasis and MSG was epic, but MEN Arena would basically be the same thing.
The only indoor venue I feel like I might get excited about would be Earls Court. For the UK members here, are there any other legendary indoor venues that you think Oasis might hit that would make it worth the trip?

The G-Mex (now known as Manchester Central). All standing, makes for a great atmosphere, and the sound quality isn't actually as bad as has been made out.
It certainly beats the MEN Arena.

Great topic. Im in the same boat kinda. I wanna go see the lads in the UK but, didnt even think about the no stadium gigs... I guess any UK show would be great, the band ofcourse would be the highlight but, for me, the fans have a big part in it. I love being at gigs where the fans go absolutely mental...and we dont' really get that out here in the states....so maybe seeing them in a large arena wouldnt be as EPIC as a stadium but, still worth the journey.
