just listened again to RM and STC and To Love. Lets face it they arent on the album are they judging by the whole "groove sound". I then read the Mojo interview again... and again just confirms to me these songs are not on the album. Hope im wrong but lets face it they aint gonna be. Also Travis have just announced on Friday the tracklisting for their new album which is released the week before Oasis Sept 29th. The suspense is killing me. Wont be long now.

Yes, let's face it! We're getting 12 brand new tracks what a shame And let's be honest, it's a healthy sign they're not including them.

Again, I don't believe Oasis will make a tracklisting blunder on the scale of SOTSOG agian, however you got to be careful saying it's a "healthy" sign....leaving Let's All Make Believe off SOTSOG at the expense of Little James or Put Your Money...was not a healthy sign, and was a massive massive blunder. If the 3 songs listed above (RM, STC, To Love) aren't on the album, it's ONLY because it doesn't fit the style of the album being "groove" based. RM and STC will be released officially one day though. Too good to be bsides, or completely ignored.

To Love is yet another aka name that is given to track 7 on DBTT Demos CD2 which the source interpreted as "what if there's a god"
Along with Illicit Mantra, I'm All Outta Time, Boy With The Blues, amongst other untitled tracks that the titles weren't as obvious.
The exact tracklisting is yet be revealed.

Unless I'm missing something, I think the "To Love" demo is just a small clip from the "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" film. Noel on acoustic. From what we can hear, I think it sounds great.

Due to the unforseen circumstances and furore that surrounded the original disc being shared, then against the sources' wishes, leaked. The 2nd disc will no longer be shared

And it is a healthy sign that STC and RM aren't on the album cos that means the band reckons they have better tracks and it hopefully goes to show that they've written equally as good or even better tunes within the past 4-5 years

Did you completly ignore what I just said - look no further to SOTSOG where they left LAMB off and included shit tunes instead.....

Give a fuck of the demos that leaked out last month or whenever it was, arent on the new Lp...yeah yeah, yeah, someone of you say that theyre not finished...well theyre finished enough for me to get an idea of what the track would be if it was. So I say bring on 12 new NEVER BEFORE HEARD traxx. Use them demos as finished Bsides I say.

With the album out in October, it could still be two months 'til we know the tracklisting for the new record.

You can't compare SotSoG to the present; Oasis were a broken and fractured band during that period coming off of the massive public drop out of Be Here Now.

If you read above I said many times that Oasis will never have a blunder like SOTSOG ever again. These are much more optimistic times. All I'm saying is that you can't say it's necessarily a healthy sign....kinda playing Devil's advocate, that's all....

At the end of the day, if Noel thinks that his new songs are better, then he's not gonna release these demos on the album.
Until he starts writing for the next album, which could be 2-3 years away, there's no way of telling how he's gonna feel about them then, as they could then be about 7 years old.

I don't see why it matters that they'll be 7 years old? Other people have brought up that too, but i don't see how that's a valid point? Live Forever is 14 years old and still sounds great, so why would Noel not consider an epic like RM, because its 7 years YOUNG?

You'd hope the band would evolve within the course of seven years and I know I'd certanly expect the band to write better songs than STC and RM over 7 years. But no, time doesn't make a song worse.

Because despite recording it along with the other DBTT truth demos, he didn't feel it epic enough to put on DBTT, and maybe not even DOYS.
There could be more demos that are better still, but have just not been leaked.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's brilliant, it's just too hard to try and guess what Noel's plans are for this song.
