On the Wikipedia section for Dig Out Your Soul, it mentions a song called Step In To The Light, which supposedly was mentioned by Paul Gallagher in an interview in May. Anyone heard of this interview? Nope. The only thing I remember him saying is that it'll have 11 or 12 tracks and that Noel was still deciding. I reckon it's bs Yeah, unless it was a different interview (which I doubt it was from, because then we'd heard about it by now). I say it's BS too...

i could believe till the part of Evil Eye and A Sad Day In The World, cos' those songs were made up by tennis players... also, I can't imagine 'To Love' (assuming that it's real) 6 minute long... it's supposed to be a song with a 'She Is Love' vibe, you know, a short nice song... not a six minute epic with an orchestra "A Sad Day In The World" is in fact the song you hear in LDSMD, aka To Love, True Love/ To Love/ If There's a God/ What If There's a God The lyrics go on: "if we sacrifice, if we sacrifice more than our sacred souls, would god help us all? Does he hear us call? Singing out Sha La La La La... Chanting out Shangra La La La La La

why is everybody so uptight here? I am trying to 'share' what knowledge I do have and i'm getting beaten up for it? If I share I'm in the wrong, If I hoard i'm in the wrong, what more do you people want? blood?
it's you, yet again, that will get egg on your faces when the song emerges
but until then I shall respect your wishes and refrain from posting here again

Most people are dissapointed that there may be no Record Machine but I get the feeling Soldier On will be better anyways. Just a feeling I have. Though I still want to hear the 10 minute Record Machine with the 3 guitar solos and Liam in the background going, "Dream, dream, live in a dream."

I doubt it, the only song Liam has written which is better than RM is Songbird (and that is debatable). Also, didn't Noel describe it as having only one verse and chorus, which isn't encouraging.

Yeah cos songs with one verse and chorus suck; Live Forever

Just because it was written by Liam, doesn't mean it will be worse. If the song sounds better than Record Machine does, lyrics which may not sound like Shakespear (the thing that everyone on here seems to want) will not make the song worse to me.

Don't you think it's wierd this dude has a cd of 'DBTT demos' from 2004 containing this track with a title and all even though Noel said in 2006 that it wasn't near finished and didn't even have a title? Of course, it could be true but as long as he/she's only posting lyric snippets and tracklistings the evidence is talking against it.

The DBTT Demos is just one of many cds of demos that are kicking about since a meeting was setup with the original source 2wks ago @ This Feeling in Old St where Andy Bell DJed, oh the irony! but that particular set was labelled Jan 05.
There are even rumours of a new cd containing both single, bsides n even album

The tracklisting to cd1 was posted here a while back whilst, yet again, against the sources wishes, the tracklisting to cd2 has been published by an argentinian, the only other member these forums, the tracks have been shared with, on the official oasis forum.

If you don't you are wasting your time and ours talking crap. If you have the songs you are hoarding, giving lyrics away doesn't really count as sharing to me, oasis aren't poets, they are musicians!
