I also reckon it was an exagerrated piss take which was a subtle pop at the music industry today (like those vagina's who release CD's with the sunday papers, what's that all about?). But I do reckon there'll be a "Super deluxe" version. Which will be the one I get. I've always thought it was a sad state of affairs if you really want to buy a digital one. Oasis released cd's with the sunday papers just before the release for the last 3 albums. Really? But they're weren't full retail albums surely? Like McFly and McCartney, even bloody Bowie have done recently. Just little promo things?

No they weren't full albums, live tracks and demos. And you could play the a few new tracks on your PC upto 3 times.

Super deluxe, hopefully it won't be limited to just the UK. Firstly, I think Noel is joking/complaining. I think the writer just worded it weird so it seems like he could be saying there actually is 5 versions of the album. That said, if there is a "Super Deluxe" version, if its extremely limited edition like Radiohead's In Rainbows one, I'd be willing to bet that it'll be UK only as Radioheads (in terms of where its distributed from). However, like that, you'll be able to import it. I doubt US shops would get it in. In the end, I think that Noel was just pointing an example of the differences of releasing an album now and the past, not necessarily that Oasis will have 5 different versions, but the verbiage of the article is not clear on this. That being said, Ill download the digital, and buy the highest end version. If the high end version is really limited or special to the point of being that Id rarely play it, Id pick up the physical regular version as well. Probably, but I'll do the same. Get the best version available.

My bet is that I will get both deluxe versions. Because the regular deluxe will probably be released on the regular release date. Then the "Super" deluxe will probably be released 6-12 months after the release date with all of the b-sides. Hopefully I'm wrong and all versions are available on Oct. 6th, cause I hate having to buy the same album twice, just to get one or two songs that I don't already have.

It's gonna depend on the difference between the super hyper deluxe and the extra mega hyped hyper super deluxe Seriously I was surprised that Oasis would get into that!
