I agree, TIOBI definitley, and Lyla quite likely.
Think the only other possibility would be Meaning Of Soul, but still think this would be quite unlikely.

I'd like them to Keep TIOBI, MOS & MF but that would be too many Noel-sung songs. They should also play GLIO or GP and maybe LBL and definitely something off BHN

They do need to bring something off BHN back.
I remember Noel palying DGA at Manchester Versus Cancer, and everyone was going mad.

I wouldn't be suprised if they "modernized" their live set. They may place more emphasis on their newer material rather than older material. For instance, instead of playing 5-6 songs from Definitely maybe they may only play 3 or so. In all likelihood they'll play at least half of Dig Out Your Soul Live, if not more. Who knows, maybe they'll sneak in a track from Be Here Now.
We'll know very soon that's for sure!

TIOBI. Noel said that he'll play TIOBI until the end. He really loves it. TUTS is very good too. Lyla? Very unlikely.

I think that's smart too...You can only hear songs like Cigarettes & Alcohol so many times before you start to long for the way Liam used to sing it. I'd be surprised if they didn't play atleast 7 songs off the new CD, especially with Noel being quoted as saying the new music will sound great live.

They should play most songs off DBTT. Not all in every show, obviously, but they should change their setlist, so they can play lots of songs. With a back catalogue as great as theirs it's really stupid that they never change their setlist, and really really lazy and inconsiderate to their proper fans. This would also give them a chance to play every song off DOYS, if it's really so good, but they wouldn't have to in the same show.

If Oasis did this then you would never know what to expect when you see them live! I saw them last tour 5 times and they only switched in/out 2 songs (The Masterplan and Bring It on Down). Even so, I loved every second of it and have no regrets!

I agree that they should change the setlist more often, and even throw Noel's acoustic set in the middle, but i don't see that happenning... I think they should stick like this:
DM: RNRS Supersonic (bring it back!!!) Live Forever Slide Away (Noel knows how fuckin' brilliant is this tune)
MG: Wonderwall (I think they should drop it, but i don't see it happening..) DLBIA CS
BHN: one song (any!!!)
SOTSOG: Gas Panic (they got to bring it back, it too amazing live)
HC: none
DBTT: TIOBI
B-sides: Acquiesce masterplan (sounded awesome in the last tour) It's good to be free (electric with liam)
DOYS: Seven new ones, or six and one cover...

This would also give them a chance to play every song off DOYS, if it's really so good, but they wouldn't have to in the same show. Noel's always said that he keeps the setlists pretty static cause he doesn't want to upset fans by switching it up and running the risk of mixing in songs they're not necessarily nuts about. Who knows he could be just lazy too... They could be the other extreme known as pearl jam (one of my faves btw) who shuffle songs around every night and usually include obscure (and often ferociously mediocre) b-sides and other inconsequential rarities that seem to be included for the sake of being included and really add little to the "musical" experience. Although the diehards make a huge deal out of hearing tunes they normally could care a fuck less about...that's almost a requisite with your average "johnny" pearl-jam fans. officially off the soapbox. I think Noel thinks his method is the"fairest" way to do it- everyone gets the same meal every night. Just don't look at setlists before you go (like my brother) and it'll be "your" experience anyways then.

They should keep TUTS, ABWR, and TIOBI. But I have a feeling it will be TIOBI and TMOS (sadly). They'll probably keep TMOS because it's so short and it will keep Liam happy.

I concur. It sounded top on the last tour. If it were my choice I'd bin off The Importance Of Being Idle and play Turn Up The Sun. Aside from it being a great opener, from what we've been told I imagine it'd probably fit in quite snugly amongst the new stuff.

I really hope I can see the importance of being idle live. That song is fucking amazing.
They'll probably play lyla, even though they shouldn't.
THEY SHOULD REALLY PLAY 'BE HERE NOW' THOUGH, LMAO

Wonderwall is an absolute classic. Even though I'd prefer Slide away over WW any day.

I know Mucky Fingers doesn't get a lot of love but that was one of my favorite tunes off DBTT. I remember a magazine said it sounded 'like a train derailing'. I thought it was fantastic live....high energy...and the way the drums and harmonica bring it all home. Fecking tops.
