monobrow is right.... anybody who thinks this song is "I'm Outta Time", simply because there is a lyric "In My Own Time" in it is just foolishly trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. I'm not saying there's no chance that it' the tune, but to say you really feel that it is is just crazy talk. If anything this song would be called "In My Own Time" from the clip we have here, or maybe "Show Me Your Love"

I also reckon this is it. The line kicks in at about 0:06 and says "In my own time". Like someone said, people are far to quick just to simply turn something down as being the actual thing. Sure, but that's not the same as I'm Outta Time is it? In November, Liam told Uncut magazine saying he'd written a song called "Guess I'm Out Of Time". People have just heard the word "time", and have jumped to conclusions. A tenner over paypal says it is

hi all.
peace the fuck out! i said in the video that it's speculation. that snippet could be anything. like you've all said, all that's happened is an association with the word 'time'. i did indeed lift it off the lyla dvd, but it's buried beneath speech on there.
myself, i hope the song on the album is this one. it sounds great.

I always thought so, and I still swear that the end of TBWTB can be heard on the DBTT documentary, when somebody uploaded alot of the music which has talking over the top (in the doc) on Sound & Vision, there's one track where you can hear Liam singing "If we come..all together.." which is what Noel said were some of the lyrics at the end of it. Maybe it's been mentioned (besides me in the Sound & Vision section), I don't know, but I thought someone else must have caught on to it!

"“There’s not much of a chorus to speak of, which is why it didn’t go on the album. [Producer] Dave Sardy was like, ‘It needs a chorus,’ but it's got this change at the end where the words go: ‘Come all together/If we come all together/We’ll come all together for you’."

Is it after Stop the Clocks but before Lyla? Like while Sardy is talking?

It's that bit that's being played around 5.30 by Gem on the acoustic.
If you go in Sound and Vision and download the DBTT Instrumental Demos thing someone stuck up, on the "Untitled 3" snippet you can hear the last bit "..for you", and on the "Unititled 5" bit you can hear the "If we come, all together" bit at 10 secs. (Don't take it all as gospel though, obviously just hearing Liam sing "..for you" is no indication that it's going to be TBWTB but I like to think so, coz it sounds top!

Yeah, that was by far my favorite clip presented on the lyla dvd. The drumming sounds absolutely great, and the guitars sound great as well. It would be a tragedy if this song never surfaces on an album.

Yeah there's alot going on in that song, seems like it's been recorded multiple times (acoustically, as well as distorted) with different little guitar parts thrown in on each take. It's by far my favorite snippet I've heard on anything "new" by the band. Got a feeling, if ever released, it could be an epic.
