If I recall correctly, Noel said in February-March time that it was "100% new" album and they took time out to write it. I'm still skeptical about it's appearance but I suppose we won't know until the final listing. It'd be boss to hear a Liam version though.

I don't know what's worse, Liam-penned songs or half a record of Noel vocals. Actually, definitely Liam-penned songs. Great news that this new record has another unfinished Liam song on it, and another that is Lennonesque... really exciting to hear we're getting the same amateur shit from Liam to drag down this otherwise exciting new record.

Songbird was one of the highlights from HC, and BOADC was pretty damn good too. Even though it's not a masterpiece lyrically, I love Love Like a Bomb. MOS has great attitude and energy. GGTIA i'm not too fond of, i feel it's average (although the "no one can break us, no one can take us" part is indeed genius. And of course little James is shit.

SB and BOADC are his only album worthy material, imho
LLAB is growing on me though

I can't really stand any of his other songs

Andy Bell, on the other hand, is amazing. TUTS and KTDA are 2 of the best from DBTT. He should be the only other songwriter besides noel
