I'm not even sure Jay-Z knew the words. The smug twat stopped his band halfway through and smirked like he was fucking King Of All Pilton.

Oh, and what's funny is that the crowd sung every word. Three minutes later he cuts his own vocal halfway through 99 Problems, and you could have heard a fucking pin drop.

Is there a video or a feed where I can see him perform Wonderwall?

He just opened his show with Wonderwall. I've got to admit, I found that quite funny. You've got to admire his audacity. Nonetheless, he's still a prize c*nt, and his music is shite. Now that would be interesting to see Anyone has the video?

This IS an Oasis fan forum, mate. >_>
Don't get your panties in a bunch because someone prefers and agrees with Noel's opinion rather then someone else's.

Im all for people havin their own opinions on stuff. Im nice like that.
I just don't understand why he's watchin it when it angers him so much.

I'm watching it because I'm intrigued to see what all the fuss is about, and I want to be able to comment on Jay-Z's performance having actually seen it for myself. This has nothing to do with anyone slagging off 'my mate Noel'. Believe it or not, I'm capable of forming my own opinions without the help of a Gallagher brother.
Oh, and it doesn't anger me. What angers me is when some jumped up Scouse c*nt calls me a cretin because I dare to voice an opinion that doesn't correlate with his own.

What's being Scouse got to do with anything?

Nothing, really. Being from Manchester, it's something of a natural reflex.
What difference does it make to you?

Since im not scouse, I have no idea.
Right, so what's your opinion on his performance. You think he doesnt deserve to be at Glasto, even though you can clearly see the crowd are loving it?

It's alright, I suppose, but I'm not exactly an aficionado. And to clarify, I never said he didn't deserve to be at Glastonbury; what I said was that he shouldn't be headlining the Pyramid Stage, and I stand by that. There's just something about it that feels forced, awkward even, almost as though people feel obliged to watch the set (much in the same way as I am now).
I'd steer clear of using that crowd as a barometer, too. Amy Winehouse got a great reception, and she was so drunk that she slurred constantly, spilt her drink all over the stage, and then assaulted a member of the audience.

I've just cringed a great deal. The crowd is singing like the clappers though!

'Insult', ha. Cheeky, more like. Incidentally, didn't Radiohead do a similar thing about ten years ago? And to a much worse degree? I've just cringed a great deal. The crowd is singing like the clappers though! Didn't I tell you? Backfired somewhat, methinks...

A few hundred short apparently. Quite poor by Glastonbury standards, that. They've been blaming last year's weather; total nonsense. I went last year and was really keen on going again until they announced the line-up.
It ain't the rain that's kept people away.

Noel is right Jay Z had no buisness at Glas! It would be like having Oasis headlining a show with Kayne, WuTang, Emeniem and Lil Wayne. I think it was a dick move for Jay Z to play the clip and Wonderwall at the start of his set. It shows what a pompus ass he really is. I love the fact that the crowd sang along with it though! That move may have worked here in America but Oasis means more to Europe than Jay Z will ever mean collectivly to the states.
It's not an issue of race either! The press pulled that card and Jay Z hinted towards it. Any Oasis fan who stood there for that set should be ashamed of themselves unless they were booing the whole time!
This isnt a case of me just backing anything Noel says because he is Noel. I believe what Noel said was right. I would not be surprised if we see some stupid duet by Jay Z and Chris Martin in months to come.
JayZ headlined a traditionally rock festival in Bmore a few years back and it pissed a lot of people off here too. As a matter affact i said the samething and i actually liked some of Jay Z's workings with Linkin Park.
