You know...the media confuses 'biggest band' and 'best band'. You can arguable say Coldplay is right up there with U2 as 'biggest bands in the world'. 'Big' is certainly something you can measure by ticket sales, album sales, tours etc etc.

'Best' is too intangible to measure. You can't measure 'best'. That's up to the listener...who's their favorite / best band to them. If someone said 'Coldplay is the best band'...I'd say 'fair play to you'. They're a good band I'd say well...'I think Oasis is the best band'. And then....we'd be talking music.....skipping along hand in hand.

Someone must have been doing the auto refreshing though for oasis, if every other band in the top ten was except oasis, we wouldnt have stayed there. I'm not saying all of you were, maybe a group of rogue nerdy fans with ten computers were doing it for us!
