Patience. They know what they're doing.

I think it probably comes down to 2 things...Noel's laziness and the difficulty of finding a flexible record deal which it seems they've just signed. Put em together and you've got about 5 months of dead time with little to no news. I'm sure things will start to pick up some steam shortly

it's understandable...bac k then they were just kids with nothing to do but drugs alcohol and write tunes and record and tour. now everyone has serious families, kids, they're older and it's harder to do everything fast. you have to have patience!

To be honest, if the album's going to be coming out in September, then they'll all have known there's no point starting the hype now! For the last month or three it's been generally all about Coldplay. And who's going to concentrate on a big album in September when there's a big one in June (I think that makes sense).
Doesn't anyone think it's intriguing that the minute the Coldplay hype begins to vanish, all of a sudden Oasis "resign" with Sony etc.
Trust me, more tour dates and first single will be announced within the next month or so!

In all the interviews, everyone asks Noel the dates of when the single or the album will be out. If I were interviewing him, I would ask when will be the dates that you announce those dates.....

Its out there but maybe they are attempting to do what they tried to do with HC and DBTT, release 2 albums in 2 years. Could be why they don't have a lot of gigs booked because they are just covering some parts of the world and then next year they release another album with a huge tour that time around. They could be trying to keep it hush hush.
I know the boys are a lot lazier now but this could be their last chance to do something like this.
Probably a too wild but could happen.

Doesn't anyone think it's intriguing that the minute the Coldplay hype begins to vanish, all of a sudden Oasis "resign" with Sony etc. To be honest the signing was only briefly mentioned on Sonys website and was in no way used to get in the media. I doubt there's a masterplan behind it all.

They're planning something definatley, usually they do a few interviews and have a good old rant about how it's better than Definatley Maybe. Everythings been under wraps. Something's up.
