Oasis Resign with Sony BMG Oasis have struck a new long term deal with Sony BMG Entertainment, via their own independent record label, Big Brother Recordings. The deal incorporates the bands next three studio albums and the distribution and marketing of their existing catalogue. The nature of the deal means Oasis recorded product, new and existing, will be released on Big Brother in all major markets worldwide under a profit share arrangement with Sony BMG. www.live4ever.us/newsroom.htmlWho would've thought that!

the notion that they'll (sony/bmg) "expand their (oasis') markets" is humorous..they won't give a shit anymore about them now than they ever have. whatever increase/expansion in popularity the band will see will soley be due to its songs/self-marketing...certainly not to the apalling efforts exhibited by sony. The Stop the CLocks fiasco was one of the most absurd exhibitions I've ever seen of a greatest hits collection of an act thats sold nearly 50 million lp's worldwide and 10+ million in the us. I just don't think they really give a shit...EITHER group.

That type of comment isn't something Noel normally says, is it? I mean, shit, the man in 40 years old.

Well, whatever, he's made his millions I think if he wants to be a bit more self indulgent and not worry about the masses, who lets face it, only want to hear the singles off Definately Maybe and Morning Glory, then who can blame him.
And er, shouldn't it be Re-sign, because resign sounds like they've just quit the label.
