Oasis have announced they will undertake a short Tour of Mexico this November. It marks the band's first shows beyond the capital Mexico City, which they last played in March 2006. It’s anticipated the band will be performing songs from their new studio album, as well as a large selection of old favourites.
The band will play:
26th November 2008: Mexico City, Sports Palace
28th November 2008: Guadalajara, VFG Arena
29th November 2008: Monterrey, Arena Monterrey
Oasisinet have secured a Pre-sale.
The pre-sale starts Thursday 26th June @ 11AM CTS and runs until Friday 27th June @ 8PM CST.
The password for the pre-sale is: Oasisinet.
Tickets for all three of the shows will be available to Banamex Credit Card owners on Monday 30th June from 11AM CST until 10PM CST on Tuesday 1st July.
Tickets go on general sale from 11AM CST on Wednesday 2nd July from Ticketmaster.

THat is awesome for Mexican Fans But I wish they would stop with this piece meal stuff and give us the WHOLE tour!!

i think nyc is already planned but they will annouce it last so other dates sell. what was the rumoured msg dates? i think it was sept/oct as posted a while ago. that would line up with the ca mexico dates. right down the coast.

I have some info regarding MSG, don't think it's happening in Sept/ Oct but later. Pretty reliable source, MSG Date(s) should be confirmed in September.

maybe they haven't announced the US dates because they are waiting until they have a record contract/ distribution deal setup here
last we know, they are "unsigned" in the US. if this record is going to be the big come back in the US that we all think it could be, the record label should be somewhat proactively involved, to make it even bigger and tie in promotions etc
i think this is why no US dates have been announced

Is that normal, or do the record companies usually provide the money for studios etc. It seems to be a great deal for the record company since the album is already done.
