well this maybe old news i dont know, but i have read two different articles on lost, both saying that the charecter Charlie and his brother and based on the Gallaghers.....
thats an interesting one???
anyone else heard anything like this???

here is some more info on it

The band is widely considered to be heavily based on Oasis (particularly their perception and level of success in the US), with 'You All Everybody' similar in chord structure and instrumentation to 'Rock 'n' Roll Star', and DriveShaft's singer, Liam, sharing his name with Oasis's lead singer Liam Gallagher. [1][2]Both bands are also from Manchester. Charlie is also heard singing Oasis's song 'Wonderwall' in flashbacks.
