Well, once again I'm super excited.
I for one am glad STC and Record machine aren't on the album since those tracks didn't blow me away. but hopefully the album does.

I'm shocked so many don't care if RM is on the record or not. That song blew me away. It's hands down one of the best songs Noel's written since BHN IMO. And with more production, who knows who good it can be?

I'd prefer RM on the new album, but STC doesn't quite do it for me yet so I'm not as disappointed on that front. But the fact of the matter is, we've heard the leaked songs, and if whatever's on the album will be new -- we just get to enjoy more material that way.
And who knows what exactly they'll perform on tour.

She compared the first single too Supersonic and Rock'n'Roll Star? Should be brilliant then! I'm sooo looking forward to this album!!!!
And as for the supposed title, I swear, I've read that somewhere before. I think it was here, but I'm not sure.

it was a bad idea to compare it with supersonic and rnrs, now everybody will be expecting something huge and possibly it wont come that way

You really are daft. Who the fuck you talking to you silly vagina? Was it you that made up that stupid title hence the reason you got abusive? Its not hard to act hard on the internet mate so dont fucking bother giving it the charlie big bollocks because i will hunt you down & spoon out your eyes you no good vagina

I agree with theEXPERIENCE on RM. That song blew me away as well. With the right tweaks and production, that song could EASILY enter my top 10 Oasis songs.

I'm sick of these silly oxymorons that Oasis insist on having as album titles. Why would they want 'Miles Behind' in their album title anyway? Bit self-deprecating isn't it?
Anyway, cannot wait for this.

If RM isn't gonna be on the new album then why and the hell wasn't it on DBTT instead of Mucky Fuckin' Fingers?

A Bell Will Ring was the best song on that album.

I think that 'Streets Ahead, Miles Behind' is BS. When I was first introduced to the interweb...way back in '99... and SOTSOG was coming out...I was out on some Oasis forum and that was the rumored title to a song on THAT album. For some reason I remember that pretty clearly b/c at the time I thought...'that's a pretty cool title for a song'.

A Bell Will Ring was the best song on that album. Word. No one's saying that reworked versions of RM or StC won't appear on the new album. We've only been promised that we won't see those exact same demos appear in their current form. In one way, I agree with castlecraver: if they don't show up, that just means more brand new material. On the other hand, I'm a snob: I would love to have a lossless version of RM. (I am refusing to listen to StC still, just in case it is reworked.)

It's not about which song is better (RM and Mucky Fingers), it's about who fits best in the album... Record Machine it's more of a slow song with an epic feeling... LTBL feel that void in DBTT... if RM and STC were in the album it would be a more romantic, slowest album, which the band didn't want... Mucky Fingers it's not one of the best songs in the album, but it definitely helps to define the album

I know this post isn't about Mucky Fingers, but that song is amazing... only they put the demo on the record for some stupid reason and never bothered to record a real version. Have you heard it live? It rocks. That song is the only one on the record not produced by Dave Sardy and wasn't recorded for the record with the other songs. Can you imagine if the demo for Hindu Times, Go Let It Out or Stop Crying Your Heart Out were released on their respective albums? Have you heard those demos? They are dreadful. The same goes for Force Of Nature... Noel put the demo from the "Love, Honour & Obey" soundtrack on Heathen Chemistry (it was recorded a year before the HC sessions), and it sucks. A properly recorded version with Liam probably would've been amazing.
The demos for Stop The Clocks and Record Machine give us a feel for the quality of the songs, but right now they're boring compared to what they could, and hopefully will be.

Whether its bullshit or not, she is not talking about the demos. She's saying the actual songs aren't on the album. That's my take on it.
