I would not look at it as bad news that we have gotten no news. Honestly i think it is better than them running their mouths about how this one is better then anything they have ever done. 1. It will not give the press a reason to proove them wrong 2. It is building excitment As far as marketing i know something big is coming because the local radio stations in my area who use to rarely play oasis have been playing them left and right. What we are seeing here is just an extremly wise marketing move. They are giving listeners time to start thinking/askign questions about Oasis again so they can suck them in. I think we will hear something soon and when we do if i were a betting man i would say the release will follow imidietly the anouncment. I could see them just coming out and saying new Oasis in stores next week. (when they do) If they do things that way it will not give leakers much time to do their work. Also if radio stations are pumping Oasis back into main stream it tells me this next ablum will be huge in UK and definitly have a great impact in the states. No matter how much it pisses me off i'm proud that the boys are keeping their traps shut on this one. Only time will tell though. Until then i just have to keep checking live4ever 50 times a day. You're 100% correct. What's exciting is that anything could happen any day now. And while I do believe Oasis that the new album will be released in August/September, I'm still hoping for a surprise that it'll be released sooner -- a.) We don't have an officially confirmed date b.) Weezer's album was pushed 3 weeks earliier so who knows

Gonna call it now, Noel won't be the one that wrote the best tune on the new album. Probably wrong, but whatever man. lol. All i have to say is that if there's a better song than what I'm expecting the final version of RM to sound like, then we're really in for a fucking treat I'd like RM more if Noel changed the lyrics. Some of them are appalling.

its a different approach to there standard marketing campaign is this, all we know is that its released in september ,plus there still negotiating a record deal i.e why theyve gotta keep quiet.i think were gonna see a real advertising and promotional campaign with this album aswell, dbtt set a new benchmark for the band an got them the respect an credability back worldwide esp the US with there live shows aswell, and also with the demos weve heard were in for a real treat ,record machine is noel back at his finest like in his peak, the minute he starts knocking songs of this quality out again will see big things for the band again sales wise,

They have to do Artwork, press campaigns, an advertising campaign, select singles, choose the final tracklisting, cause a bit of a stir and all that jazz, probably a bit of a wind up with the NME then it'll all be out!
