HOOOOOLY SHIT I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT .... I'm sooooo happy.. First, because it's a pretty good song and of course, I wish Liam sang it.. Second, because it's not WHO FEELS LOVE at all (makes me think of Who Put The Weight Of The World...) Third, because the guy who was holding his live recording, is soon now to have his name forgotten, he'll never be the " legend " he was hoping to be... What was his name? Limas? Llamas?

Yes.... or if it's not, that means Sardy is a lazy wanker and just copy/paste Death In Vegas ideas.. which I doubt very much about it.. Differences between those demos & DBTT real songs are soooooo light, that it sounds like the late demos or alternative takes for the album. Yep, I'd be extremely surprised if these are from the DiV sessions. If they are, it beggars belief that Noel felt strongly enough to get rid of them, as they are so close in sound to the finished versions. If you listen to Can Y'See It Now, there is such a marked difference in tone, pace and sound to Mucky Fingers, that I would have expected that to be the blueprint soundwise for what Death in Vegas envisaged.

Its cinco de mayo today, about 11:20pm PST, baked off my ass, listening to the track for the first time. I got chills. Everything Oasis in my life is flashing in my mind, what an exciting time to be a die hard fan...all them years and still mad fer it now. Only a true fan knows what its like to hear what will become a classic Oasis tune for the first time...(is that Noel yodling in the background?) The UK is now waking up, and this will be tomorrows news. My missus is yelling for me to "turn that shit off!!" It's almost midnight here....I guess Im going to be late to work tomorrow...who can sleep now...Suddenly the other demos don't matter anymore. Thank you, whomever posted this song up, after all these years...excellent vocals.

if Lomax had never told us he had this tune EVER in the first place....and then this studio version got released and then he came out of the blue out of left field and posted the live track, he would be an instant LEGEND. I thank him for the track now, appreciate what he did for us fans to get it and all, but wish he didn't tell us all about it beforehand

I wish people would stop saying these are DIV sessions. They are 100% matter of factly absolutely not.
Sardy is the one who got them to go acoustic on TMOS.

The more I'm getting old, the less I can stand Noel's voice... I was 18 in 1995, the first time I heard Don't Look Back In Anger.. and that was FANTASTIC... but now (I mean since at least 5 years), I just want Liam's vocals on most of the song... Noel is hurting my ears... soooooo bad..
Sorry, I had to throw it up

In some bits the song kinda hits The La's "Looking Glass"... OMFG, if Flmox busted out a fuckin live version of this track EXCLUSIVELY on L4E, I think the site would crash...This is gonna be big, big news tomorrow AM, a live version would be fanfuckintastic....

He sings with more emotion and conviction now. Noel-Liam balance eachother very well. Liam with the sneering rock n roll voice, Noel with the melodic, standard singing voice which is perfect for acoustics and anthems You wouldnt want an album full of Liam singing, nor an album of Noel singing, the balance is perfect imo.....varies their sound so they DONT sound all the same, like the Arctic Monkeys do

I actually prefer the live version and am thankful for Lomax for finally sharing it. However, it took someone else to share the studio version for him to come forward with his, had that not happened he'd never have shared it.
I do appreciate the gesture, even if it is half assed IMO. I'm glad its over regardless of the quality of the tune, until an official release at least.

Do you think Noel will be aware of this song leaking within the week? And if so, do you think it'll play a factor convincing him to release it on the new album if his minded hasnt been made up yet?
This is majestic stuff. His vocals are spine chillingly perfect

holy crap. stop the clocks. i think i'm more impressed that we are listening to it now. the hype killed it, people. Yeah.. I feel the same...I hope it won't be on the album.. 'Cause as far as I'm concerned, even with a 90 pieces orchestra etc... it will just be a " nice song ", not a " killer " track...

I totally disagree. The hype didn't kill it for me at all.. maybe that's because I avoided it all I could...
But to me, it's a classic. I really hope it's on the new album.. a "perfect" version.. it's a classic. 10/10
