it's possible the rest of the CD could just be made up of demos we already have, or doubles of bsides or something

Any way, how fucking greatful I am. 3 songs within a space of a few hours, and it being so unexpected makes it even better. This is EXACTLY what this forum needed. This is exactly what us Oasis fans needed. And it's so dangerous too - if these songs were shit, then it would dampen our enthusiasm, but they arent shit. they are monumental. So worth staying up to 4.30am to experience this excietment. I'm off to bed now though. One more listen of all 3, then bed lol

So far then:
Love Like A Bomb = Better than the studio version in my opinion, Liams vocals are brilliant. They should have left it the way it was.
Stop The Clocks = They are fools if don't release it, it's a classic already in my opinion, like others have said sounds like 'Looking Glass' . I just hope that havent scapped it all together. You just cant tell with this band.
Record Machine = Another great Noel sung track. You listen to these songs and it makes you proud to be an Oasis fan. All the idiots who say they have no talent should really just listen to STC and Record Machine and that would shut them up.
Nothing On Me = I could give or take it to be honest, i think i've realise that the sort of tunes i like now are either Noel sung or decent melody tunes like LLAB sung by Liam.
Everything else has been a bonus and hopefully theres more to come.

When Oasis produce the quality we know they're capable of, it just makes you so proud to be a fan. And they've come through here, no doubt. I fucking love this band.

i think everyone is starting to agree. liam hasn't sung an good song really since maybe hc. you guys can say you like them blah blah blah. but his voice is shit. every good song we have gotten in the past 5 years or so has been by noel. noel needs to go solo.

We've had the voice debate many times. Yes, 1994-1998 was he best vocals, and yes, it hasnt been of the best quality since 2002 and SCYHO and song bird But it's also a new voice, in a way, and the songs he sings revolve around that new voice. Yeah, he sounds shit singing things like Cigs and Alc live (except if he has a one off blinder), but Love Like a Bomb, Lyla, and Abel were all good, even live occasionaly, and likewise on Nothing on Me I'd rather have liams old voice back, but it's not coming back, so embrace the change. It's not awful on studio albums, and that's all that really matters..... As long as the vibe, energy, and passion are still there, then the vocals become less of a problem imo

thats true.. but when you heard songs like record machine from noel, why are we wasting our time listening to nothing on me, or meaning of soul.

I wouldn't say so. I just think that Liam's best work since little james have been LLAB and GGTIA. Decent melodys, great rousing choruses, brilliant. I'm just not into TMOS, Better Man and that sort of stuff. Thats why i really want to hear 'The Boy With The Blues' as it's meant to be slower and a bit pschicidelcal like spiritualized. Noel going solo would be like Paul Weller, he knows he's got a good thing going with Oasis, still after what 15-16 years there still headlineing festivals and getting Number 1's in England and what not. They've still got it.

Cool Curlies... but I doubt it's from the Death In Vegas sessions.... Maybe you could make another one without written " DEATH IN VEGAS " ;o)
Thank you

I think these aren't from the DIV sessions. MOS is acoustic, and the songs are really similar to the DBTT version. I don't know about the "new" ones, maybe they were done even with Sardy.

Would be surprised if these were the DIV sessions, if so, my heart goes out to DIV because these tracks are remarkably similar in production to the ones that made the final album, so it must have been a more personal reason that Noel decided to go with Sardy.
That said, I was expecting a lot more 'dance' style production on the DIV tracks (like on Scorpio Rising) and synthesised instruments, so I'm 95% sure that these tracks are demos done with Sardy.
Will be interesting to find out where they surfaced from (if indeed we ever do).

these ARE done with sardy, or just without either DIV or Sardy. Can Y'see it now is done w/ DIV and you can really hear the different sound

yeah, this is not DIV tracks
So, that leaves us with the possibility of hearing, sooner or later, Boy With The Blues, as it's probably among those tracks too
Maybe the uploader wants to play with us a bit

that's what i was fearing. If the nme finds out and sprea the info, then the uploader might get scared.

am i the only one who is waiting for the release date to hear the new songs? (other than stop the clocks, of course. it was only the holy grail of unreleased oasis songs.) don't wear yourselves out too quickly, lads. the magic of listening to the cd for the first time is lost if you know the songs from leaked demos. i won't make that same mistake again, like i did in 2005. ;D i tried so hard in 2005 and couldn't wait in the end... i won't even bother trying this time
