I never even said a word to Webby! Thats why i have no idea why he attacked me! I didnt tell Webby to release STC. I didnt direct ANY comment to Webby. And I really dont get the people on here who want disappointed fans to pretend they aren't disappointed. We live under democracies, not authoritarian regimes. I have a right to speak up against the leader (in this case its Webby) and state im frustrated and annoyed. Why fake emotions? Why be coerced by other members to be "thankful" because it's the morally right thing to do? I stand up for my views. Sometimes I'm right, sometimes I'm wrong. But I'm a better person for doing so compared to some of you sheep who are too scared to say anything, and are too afraid to speak your minds. Why do you assume that because we don't agree with you we are too afraid to speak our minds? Speaking my mind means me telling you to stop acting like a twat. Do you really think people are scared to post something on a forum on the internet? The internet is the last place for anyone to be scared to post anything, though I wouldn't mind you being a little more reserved in your thoughts once and awhile. |

I think what Headskrinker is untactfully trying to say is that letting out the songs we already know, have and can listen to at leisure and expect us ALL to be very appreciate for it is silly... WE know you have the song, we know your not letting us have it...why bother telling us? I really don't care either way while I appreciate everything webby puts into this site...this is a bit of let down... I would rather not have any of it, then know only a "elite" few owns its. I am mainly disappointed that the "surprise" wasn't tour dates being that Canadian rumors came out after the STC. My point is and I am sure the flames will come....giving us the Zanzibar gig without STC is like being starved for months and finally getting dinner....with out the main of course.... I have got my salad, wine, and desert.....but where is my lobster???!!  I think that is where all the anger comes from...anyways I believe the lobster is coming in September so I am not all fussed about it ! |

I'm just curious as to where all the confidence that its on the new album is coming from. There have been no rumors of it at all except made up crap.
The fact it wasnt on an album of the same name is telling enough that it probably wont be seeing the light of day anytime soon.

STC was pulled off of DBTT at the very last second, so it's basically safe to conclude that the song is *ALMOST* ready to be released. Then Noel teased us with printing part of the lyrics for the greatest hits collection, which just so happens to be called STC - yet another tease, perhaps. I was just rereading STC 101....I think it would have been awesome if the whole boot was released the day of or the day before the album would have been SUCH a build up of excitement! It would have created such a whirlwind! Anyways it is what it is...Woo hoo go Oasis!!! This is what this is all about right? Either way we are ALL passionate oasis fans, and that is great... |
