I lost all respect for this utter twat after reading this: ALF INGE HAALAND The Norwegian was taken out by a knee-high assault by Roy Keane in a Manchester derby at Old Trafford in April 2001. He never completed another match for Manchester City and surgery never fully solved the problem with his knee and he announced his retirement in July 2003. Keane later revealed in his autobiography that it was premeditated revenge after he suffered a season-ending injury while trying to foul Haaland, then at Leeds, in a match in September 1997. I don't give a shit how good he was for Utd. He doesn't deserve legendary status with antics like that. The real greats not only are great players but have great attitudes too. Pele, Henry, Ronaldinho, Tony Adams.... Roy Keane has some serious issues. The guy needs some sort of anger management

Haaland retired from an injury to his other knee fyi

Keane is one of the best midfielders of the last 20 years, anyone who knows their football will have him in that "legend" bracket

One incident which was payback. You hate Popovic for injuring an Arsenal player as well I bet, GET THE HELL OVER IT!

this thread is nothing but an anti manchester united rant, as not a single player mentioned as a real legend has played for manchester united.

Haaland actually played in a competitive game the following weekend. And it was his other knee which forced him into retirement, not the one which Roy Keane supposedly 'damaged'. The idea that Keane retired Haaland is a myth, and whoever wrote that piece of information is as clueless as you are. Utter, utter nonsense.
