Radio Bonnaroo, broadcast from the official Bonnaroo.com website, has stated a number of clues that can be deciphered to reveal some of the bands that will be playing this year's festival. The Internet has already been wildly speculating as to what these clues mean. Clue #1: “For all you lineup lookers….here is a clue: There is more than one Manchester.” Clue #2: “Memphis is not Albany” Clue #3: “Clouds taste this way” Clue #4: “Some Herrings are red, Jimmy” Clue #5: “Hard Substance, Soft Substance” Clue #6: “Janis Joplin’s reserves will be preserved in 2008″ Clue #7: “Rumors are just rumors, but twist them sideways, grow your humor hair and they become a more yen reality. No, this is not about Fleewood Mac.” Clue #8: “It’s not sour, what is sowed in the earth” Clue somewhere in there: “Three certain birds, add one” Clue #9: “Look to the center of Europe to get the sound, but the band comes form all around.” Clue #10: “Here is another clue for you message board people. Open up the church and you will see the steeple. Some of your guesses have been way off but correct for the wrong clues. Now I must cough.” Clue #11: “Message board chatter? Yes it does matter. We hear your song requests. Sounds like they may be playing there. According to the site they are making the official announcement either today or tomorrow. We'll see.

I've always heard of it but I've never gone. But yeah, it's definitely not some small festival. |

They should condense the festival into one day and simply eliminate the shitty bands that appeal to trendy ppl.

is anybody gonna analyze these clues?
clue 1 def makes me think oasis. also the fact that NME is revealing the band makes it almost definitely an english band
clue 17 is confusing. if it said 'desert' instead of 'dessert' that would be a clear reference to oasis

Yeh, as much as I would die to see them there and as close as Manchester, TN is to my house, I don't think it'll be them. I think it'll probably be a band that either alreasy has a new album out or will have one out in the next couple of months. Who knows.
