new yorkers are rude. great city tho. san fran is great i live in LA. although as a whole it is far from perfect there are some really great parts especially if you have money. Most (not all but, MOST) of the people that HATE on LA are the ones that come from somewheresville back east, new york, nj, etc etc, and they come out here with these dreams of instant stardom and riches....six years later that dream never happens and they are bitter about it whilst they serve my arnold palmer, bring me a clean fork, take my order....LA is expensive, as is London, Tokyo, and if your broke, not from LA and you want that billionaire boysclub lifestyle its not the best place to live. You have that celebrity lifestyle all around and it blows if you cant enjoy it. Ive never met a native Angeleno say LA sucks, its always the OUTTA TOWNERS that slag it off. i totally agree. everyone who moves out to LA hates it, yet they choose to live here. im sure they would love to stay in their hometown but they must come to LA to follow their dreams/ambitions. cant be that bad of a place. i see you live in west hollywood. ever make it down to the troubadour?

I live 2mn walking dist. from it. Yeah, I specially get a kick out off all these outta towners that come to MY city, set up camp, enjoy the night life and weather, our LA beaches (they might not be clean but, Ive heard far better than the ones back east) and talk SOOO much shit about LA! You know what I say to that, GO FUCKIN BACK, WE DONT WANT YOU HERE ANYWAY....well maybe just your tourist dollars.

is this like an east - west rap war ? LMMFAO! I guess it's just pride in ones city. I think you're right. I think LA is more about there are those who have made it (and are treated like royalty), and the one's who haven't made it living out of desperation, willing to do whatever it takes to make it. Now obviously I'm being very general and I know not everyone is like that there, but NY is a place based more on just a ALOT of people in similar situations. You think LA, you think palm trees and celebrities. You think NY, you think crowded streets and alot of business people walking. And believe me, as someone who works 2 blocks from Times Square, I have to deal with that crap ALL the time. But you wanna know what I've learned? The people who clog the sidewalks and piss me off the most are the tourists (usually foreign). They just stand there in awe of the lights and skyscrapers and whatnot, meanwhile there's a million people ready to run them over cause they've gotta rush to work. That's why NYers have the stereotype of being rude I think. They're just 2 very different places, and I don't blame anyone for not liking the other.
