Didn't like the way he played when Argies went 2-0 up v Ivory Coast and went mad with his subs in the 1/4 finals, went 1-0 up v Germany and his tacticts after that is why Argentina aren't lifting the World Cup this year. Very dissapointed with him because the squad was so strong and after playing some lovely football poor tactical football rather than bad luck stopped Argentina from winning their 3rd World Cup. fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/060630/7/8fy8.html

Although I must say I wish Hiddink stays with the Australia squad because they lost because of a mistake of the referee. Hard luck, he signed up with Russia before the world cup

Pekerman didn't call two great players like Zanetti and Samuel for this WC and I've never managed to unterstand why... Besides this, Messi and Tevez usually went on the bench with him and his substitutions are simply inexplicable!
Good for Argentina that his leadership finished.

I agree on Veron, but I watched Samuel and Zanetti play a great season in Italy this year, so I'd have expected them to be in the list.. Burdisso is never in the starting lineup with Inter whilst Zanetti and Samuel are fundamental players of the squad, Zanetti is the captain too... Why Burdisso and not Zanetti and Samuel? This is what I can't understand

Thanks Jose. And it´s PEKERMAN mate. Cheers WAs he like that during the qualifying? When yous went a goal or two up and in control of the game, changing tacticts to hold onto a narrow lead insted of continuing for another. How would you rate him overall? I know he has done wonderers at underage level, like the ex-Ireland boss Brian Kerr but the step up to the big time was too much for him.
