see i was kinda hoping england did well - before rooney came back from injury
does anyone else find it hallarious that everyone in england was praying for rooney to make the world cup, its all that anyones talked about since he got injured. Yet he didnt score a single goal, dont think he made an assist, and it seems his only contribution was to get you lot down to 10 men for the most important game of the campagn.
i hope the press slaugher him

All i can say is that i wished people listened to me in 2004 when i said give Hargreaves a few years and he'll be a quality player... he was fucking amazing yesterday...
i think this was just an unfortunate World Cup for England... had Owen and Rooney been fit i think we would have seen the team go a lot further... Lampard had a shite World Cup though

All i can say is that i wished people listened to me in 2004 when i said give Hargreaves a few years and he'll be a quality player... he was fucking amazing yesterday... i think this was just an unfortunate World Cup for England... had Owen and Rooney been fit i think we would have seen the team go a lot further... Lampard had a shite World Cup though unfortunate in the sense we had sven as are manager, that said even with him i was certain we would win, and we should have. |

you cant blame sven for everything, at the end of the day he isnt the one who goes out and plays, he never steps over the touch line.
when maradona dragged argintina to the world cup in 1986, did the manager play much of a role? when the best international team of all time, Brazil, stamped over Italy in the1970 final, did the manager do much? if your team was that good they could have done it, because theres no doubt that they had a better squad than portagal yesterday, and two years ago and yet both times they didnt show it.
and in know what is rooney the second best player in the world - i think its time you accept he let your country down

i think england had the best big game player in the world playing for them, gerrard, as an arsenal fan i can say that, and you wasted him. lampard was a joke, it just all fell apart, which i soppose is the managers fault, but the players didnt step up either

It was a tangle yes. Still doesn't change that he kicked out at Carvalho.... And the referee implemented the rule.
Perhaps you're hoping the referee could have pretended to not have seen it. But he didn't do that, and you complain at him for that.
And remember the referee had no bias. He wasn't up for England and wasn't going to throw a few decisions their way if it suited them. Sorry, but tough.
It annoys me when people give out about officiating when the decision is actually correct... (happens A LOT with the technical rules of offside and handball, which most people aren't aware of, and that includes pretty much all the pundits I've seen)
Focus the attention of this incident more on Rooney than the ref perhaps

actually i think he got sent off for the push on ronaldo as the ref didn't attempt to go to his pocket until he pushed ronaldo.
