Figo will run again (he hasnt done this for 4 years) and hopefully Portugal will pass anyways, I'm waiting for a very equal match.

You're right about the explosive bit!!! Loads of action.
Plus seeing as Portugal are probably going to win, it looks like theres some good news for England. Costinha and Deco won't play if they have been sent off? Shame to see Ronaldo go off so early though.
I can't believe Nistelrooy hasn't been brought on either!!! wtf?

Breath-taking match, even if players were very nervous (14 yellow cards and 4 red cards)... Not so bad, it reminded me of the derby in Rome!

What a match was that...Amen...
Question to the all footballers - do you call this match "a Real football"?

Van Basten is an idiot for not bringing Van Nistelrooy on, personal grudge or no personal grudge With the pressure the Dutch were applying, and the clinical finisher RVN is, I have no doubt he'd have been in the right place at the right time for a goal. Van Basten....

Absolutely best match of the tournament yet. Deco is a dumbass though. What was he thinking? They got no chance against england without him.

do you call this match "a Real football"? No - pure hate ;D Exactly! What was that all about?? I think it started off with Holland not giving the ball back and Deco got yellow for sliding. Or not???

do you call this match "a Real football"? No - pure hate ;D You don't have to hate each other to play football, or better said, a great match! I don't know anything about football, but I do love and enjoy to watch the World Cup everyday. I wish our oranje men could win last night, but things I saw on the field made me feel shame! (I mean for both teams)

it was all the referee's fault. if he would have shown a red card to that holland defender, what his name, after that criminal hit to c.ronaldo, he would have shown some respect and the rest of the players wouldn't have been so violent.

It could have been so much worse!, Figo should have walked, Deco's chase and cynical hoof for his first yellow was easily worth a straight red as it was from behind and vicious!. The fould on Ronaldo was disgraceful, he was targeted brutally twice in the first ten minutes and Holland got him!. At least 2/3 of the cards were fully merited, and how many times when there was a big ruck did no one get booked!. The Dutchmen shoved a Potugal player on the floor in one instance, it was a farce! just think what sort of suspensions face Portugal in the semis should they beat England, they have seven players on a yellow and two suspended at least!. A crazy game altogether....can you imagine if that ref had of been in charge of Argentina and Mexico, it would have been abandoned!!!!

Oh and one other point, how much of a pain in the arse must Ruud van Horseface be if he is thrown out of Man United for being a tool and ignored by the Dutch manager as they go out of the world cup!. Obviously a hugely disruptive little shit!, hope Fergie shows him the door! send him to Italy he would do well there!
