2 - 2 Surprise surprise yet another draw with Sweden after some utter shit defending as usual, I’m not a betting man but id of bet big money on this being a draw but I blame Sven for this he obviously played for a draw just like he has done for the last England vs. Sweden matches. I will be glad when Sven’s gone and to have to manager who actually wants to win every match and not make sure he doesn’t beat his country and its funny how cuz we drawed instead of beating them they got through aint it.

lol get in their henrik, u cant say sweden where lucky when they had far more clear cut chances than england, they hit the bar twice, had one cleared of the line, and carragher was also lucky not to concede a penalty when his hand hit the ball.
i really dont know why the english have hyped up englands chances of winning this world cup, they hung on against paraguay, after paraguay stuck the ball in thier own net, where lucky to beat trinadad and failed to beat sweden as usual. in my view england havent had one good performance so far, i cant wait till they get a big team and get put out, of course they will have the usual excuses prepeared for when they do go out.
the truth is england just aint that good.

Can you believe this fuckin SOB of a game!!? So my missus decides to swing round my job to meet up for lunch (off all days) Im dying to watch the match instead, luckly she left it up to me to chose a spot, so we get there, missed the whole 1st half. Nice goal from England in the 2nd half but, nearly chucked my chicken parm when fuckin Sweeden tied it up! Becks could of played better.

Saw the owen injury today, looked bad, ouch. Wish him the best in recovery.
I said before the tournament, with or without Rooney England won't win it.

even if we do go out it will be safe in the knowledge that we still did sooo much more better than your country did Well done, you've done better than a country with a population 1/15th of yours, and it's our third (bordering on fourth) sport. You must be real' proud. Imagine England had to pull their entire team from one city, that wasn't even London, - you'd be shite!! (shiter? ;D) I hope England do alright, I've no grudge with them really.... But to brag about doing better than Ireland, Scotland...etc. is just stupid. Comparing apples & oranges and all that... ***** England have only won one more major trophy in the entire history of football than Norn Iron have. Now that is kinda funny!!!

Never played sports or actually supported a sports team then have you? because if you actually had or had half a brain for that matter you'd know that Scotland, Wales, Ireland etc are our biggest rival teams and when it comes to rival teams in any sport it doesn’t matter how much worse or better your rival teams are you enjoy beating your rivals, doing better than them or them failing, that’s why the Irish, Scottish, welsh, Australian fans etc enjoy watching England fail, its called rivalry, maybe you should look that word up and if you honestly believe that’s not true then you really do have half a brain.

Good Lord, you are even dumber than I thought - Number of times I used the word rival: Nil
- Number of times you used the word "rival" or "rivalry" assuming it was the root of my argument: Five
My argument, you see, wasn't to do with rivalry. Even if I had taken that into account, my point would have gone along the lines of this: "You get a kick out of England performing slightly better than countries less than one tenth their size, who happen to be their rivals.
This is not dis-similar to imagining Liverpool bragging if they beat Tranmere. They wouldn't, and it'd be sad if they did. But you can bet your bottom dollar Tranmere fans would party big-time if they beat the 'Pool. It's called an Inferiority Complex.
Yes, we're shit, but we as fans of the more minor nations have come to accept our expectations. England should be excellent, but all too often fall short of mediocre, and some English fans can't accept that. Take it on the chin and have a laugh."Also, I don't think you speak on behalf of your nation implying Ireland are a truly hated rival for England, as I remember only too well in 1994 when the vast majority those in England were cheering on for Ireland (even if you weren't among them). A very sporting manner, and not forgotten by myself. From where I see it anyway England's primary footballing rivals are the Germans and the Argentinians. I reckon most English fans would rather get one over the Germans, than beat the Welsh. ******* Never played sports or supported (not 'sported', as you so eloquently put it) a team? Very wrong on both fronts there, buddy. Half a brain? My education level: Post Graduate Professional Qualification. Your's: From what I can make of you so far, I'm quite sure it involves something along the lines of checking McDonalds toilets seats for spare fries

Very wrong on both fronts there, buddy. oh no I said sported instead of supported, it means im not great at English quick shoot me now before I have time to spend my bad spelling to other people. see now that’s what's wrong with this world vaginas like you that have to have everything perfect and everybody has to be the best at everything and if they’re not then they don’t deserve respect. Well you know what I’d rather not be great at spelling than be an arsehole like you who spends their live on there picking on other peoples fault to hide his own feelings of inadequacy.

No? Nothing? Well I'm tired of waiting for you to get back to the point of this thread, football, so goodnight. And I still hope England do well. well since I started this thread I know what it’s about and at no point in your first post did you mention your opinion about England yet again drawing with Sweden which happens to be Sven’s home country or now it’s strange that because we let Sweden score twice to make it a draw so Sven’s beloved team definitely got through to the next round. Strangely enough your posts never really seem to really match what this threat is about so I’ll tell you what you stop picking a fight and insulting England football team and talk about what the threat was about and then I will “get back to the point of this thread” but until then why don’t you get lost.

Any points to make on what was above the "*********" line in my post above? I welcome anything constructive you have to offer never said England hated Ireland or that there our biggest rivalry but on the international scale it’s the equivalent of a local derby and no I’m sorry but you are wrong because bigger teams still enjoy beating little teams if they are their rivals, it’s like you saying you wouldn't enjoy beating northern ireland because there only a little team compared to the republic of Ireland or even that Argentina didn't enjoy beating Serbia & Montenegro 6 - 0 or Ukraine didn't enjoy beating Saudi Arabia 4 - 0. The truth of the matter this they do enjoy beating little teams too maybe not as much but they still do and yes I did cheer Ireland on in 94 because when it’s England vs. Ireland, I want England to win but when it’s another Great Britain and Ireland team vs. another country I want Great Britain and Ireland to win. Same with the champion’s league final in 99, I HATE man united but most people saw it as England vs. Germany and were very happy that man united won and so was I. and yes you are right we do have some great players and we very much under perform quite a lot and yes people do go too far saying England could win the world cup when we definitely wont but there’s something you need to understand about that. We have no national pride anymore it died in the 70's. we are probably one of the most hated countries in the world second to only America which is our fault I know we did a lot of wrong things to people and places including Ireland, for the past 30 years it’s been one disaster to another from all the IRA bombing to invasion of the Falklands islands to the London’s bombings and now our leader is too busy selling us down the river to Europe and sucking up George bush and screwing us over royally to care about us and we limp from one pointless war to another most people can’t even see a future for Britain anymore and the only thing we have left is our sports. That’s the only thing left we have to look forward to, hang all our hopes and dreams on and about the only thing that will bring a community together anymore. So is it so much to ask that you let us just dream our little dream that we might win the world cup, every country does it so why can’t we?
