Brazil.... still the WC is always full of surprises cos it's down to just one match, and well..... shit happens have to disagree with ya there mate, the cream always rises to the top in the world cup with usually the best team winning. There has never been a suprise winner to the best of my knowledge.

There has never been a suprise winner to the best of my knowledge. germany was a surprise winner both in 54 and 74.... Brazil should've won in 82, they had a dream team, but Rossi had a stunning performance with 3 goals. Argentina in 1990 eliminated brazil in R16 in a match where Brazil dominated the ball and had the most and the best scoring opportunities, balls hitting the post and stuff like that, only one brilliant second from Diego and Canniggia got Argentina through..... I think Brazil were favourites in 98, it was not all that clear but they were favourites, and let's not forget what happened in the last WC when France, Portugal and Argenitna were eliminated in the first round then Italy and Spain were eliminated earlier than expected..... I stick to my original idea cos although you do have a point, and it's something that should happen, there have been surprises in a lot of WCs

Germany will do very well though, as long as england don't play them in the second round that is.

A BIG nation always seems to take the overall crow, unlike european championship when Greece won, Theres always suprises early on but these teams never win it.

I was only winding you up mate, seriously, I think without Rooney and with an unfit Owen, I cant see you guys going all the way, but you never know. I put money on Germany coz they had pretty good odds a few months back when I put the line on. There would be no point in putting money on Brazil, I'd win about 10p! Its called hedging your bets

I seriously hope this is not true and if Brazil doesn't win the cup it's not becaus some referee screwed them...
