'The Jam' trivia- 'Private Hell' was taken as a title from an interview with 1960's cult band The Creation who mentioned the title as one of two never released, the other being the opening line "Closer Than Close'.

Death of a disco dancer- Smiths I was just talking about this song with one Finnish guy today. He said it's underrated.

'The Jam' trivia- 'Private Hell' was taken as a title from an interview with 1960's cult band The Creation who mentioned the title as one of two never released, the other being the opening line "Closer Than Close'. Weller played this song acoustic when I saw him at his special acoustic gigs last month. I was speechless and had completely "black out" for a moment when he started to sing the first line. Setting Sons is my most favourite album by The Jam. This album has a full wonderful memory of my careless youth. This album was great and is still great.
