great song indeed... the piano is just great.... but I still think Songbird is a thousand times better... and it's not nearly as good as TIOBI and POTQ IMO

Its not even one of the best 5 songs off of DBTT. Songbird is still Liams best effort to date. Hopefully that will change with this new record coming out, I have high expectations for Im Outta Time

This is a great live version of the song.
Oh and in my opinion it's the best song on the album.

I really like this tune and I'm really dissapointed when people say it's shit. I think it's a bit Rubber Soul.

Used to hate this song, but now I like it a lot, love the part where the piano comes in, after "blowing my miind" part you do think that a fucking overblow guitar would come in but instead was a sweet piano notes.

Good song. Clever in both words AND music (love the E major part). I don't like Liam's singing on it, however, nor the "la la"s or "na na"s or whatever. Oasis overused that to such an extent it makes me wish Hey Jude never existed.
And yes, the production is obviously a "make it sound like John Lennon" hack job. Be yourself, Oasis. After all, that's the first thing you ever told us to do...

Might be terribly late, but is there any chance somebody could link me to a live version of the song. I'd love to hear it

Yeah I thought that until I looked at all the comments on here, with someone saying it's terrible live.

Thank you my friend And Liam actually sings the falsetto part live Although not very well like. I was hoping he did when i was downloading, but didn't expect it. The boston version is okay though. It just proves to me how stupid his style of singing is when live. Bit of concentration and no straining, i reckon even now he could do alot better (i'm quite the singer myself, used to take a bit of the liam approach by practically using your throat. Doing enough of it, you wake up in the morning with a dead singing voice honestly)

IMO, it is the only bad produced song on DBTT, and Liam singing is terrible, shame on you Dave Sardy. But I still like this song and the demo sounds a lot better.
