So........although I owned all the songs already I went out and got' Stop The Clocks' and have been playing it for a week now in the car so i decided to put DBTT back in and wow........this is such a good album.
I started getting a bit tired of STC and I realize I like the new sound and the new album even more than I thought i did.

it's awesome. there's some amazing song writing in there (GGTIA, POTQ, TIOBI, MOS) andy's songs are good, gem's is just awesome, liam's becoming a great songwriter. I really think we'll still be talking about this album in 10 years time. TIOBI is one of the best songs relesed this decade by anyone and it'll definetly stand the test of time... I love DBTT

listening to it right now. I can't believe they only released 3 singles for it and LTBL was given almost no promotion at all and had a crap video..... quality album. I 've been also listening to BHN a lot these days and I have to say I like DBTT better. I'm too tired by the end of BHN. it's very solid, has incredible tunes, some of the best oasis has ever written but as a whole DBTT is a better album, imo. great variety in the sound, interesting guitar work, yo can actually hear the bass, great drumming by Zak, all in all, it's a classic pop record

heres proof positive that DBTT ranks within the top 3 Oasis albums (well, third actually)
DM -- we all still listen to it. never gets old WTS - same, we all still listen to it BHN, HC, SOTSOG -- after a few months we forgot about it. only listening to the few top tunes on them, and only to revive the albums years later DBTT -- like WTS and DM, we're still listening to it. 1.5 years later. we havnt tired of it. it's actually reignited the passion we have for Oasis. we want more!!!!!!!
and Noel is toying with us -- LDSMD, the unamed part of a song floating on youtube, STC lyrics etc etc
good time to be an Oasis fan

I still say Heathen Chemistry was better, but here we are. Either way, I'd gladly rank '01-'05 Oasis up with the so called glory years.

V good album.
Shame the mastering fucks it up. There's compression all over and no dynamic range. There's softer song on DBTT that aren't supposed to be distorted and really loud.
I wish artists would demand their own albums sound good and get involved in the mastering or at least complain to the record label

Who does the mastering for albums like Oasis's?

DBTT is a great album.... tough i can't compare it with the three first, i don't know, it just doesnt seem right... i guess they belong to another era... and i really hope that I feel that away about DBTT in the future... songs like TIOBI and POTQ are forever with me, the others still need some time...

I've mentioned it before, but 10 of the 11 songs (all but MOS) could have been singles off DBTT.

Its their best flowing album... Great tunes for me it might be better than be here now... They are on the same level for me... All the tracks are solid don't wanna skip any (All around the world reprise)... And for me its one of the records that sounds like it could have been lefted from the 60s. It's great like TIOBI sounds like a song that was played back then.

I still dont see why people consider LLAB is filler? It's a beautiful amazing track, and when the piano comes in, the song explodes - and thats what makes it great. Such a spring time tune too.
Great album

the thing is you couldn't wait for it to be released and you listened to the leak so you killed all the excitement and now you don't like it plus, you hear a small gap in KTDDA that no one else does, so I'm guessing you do have a different album ;D
