This is how it was organized tonight for the Borat screening. 1) Pickup your CMJ Film Pass at the Avery Fisher Hall inside Lincoln Center on 63rd and Columbus Ave between today and Saturdays screening . The film pass has a seperate waiting line than for the music pass folks. 2) Go back down to the Directors Guild Theater to wait in the Ticket Holders Line. The Theater is located at 110 west 57th street (between 6th and 7th Avenue) next to the Le Parker Meridian Hotel . There was NO will call pickup for the Borat movie today so I suppose the Oasis screening will be the same. Give yourself plenty of time to wait in the Film Pass Queue and make it back down to theatre (10 City Blocks away) if your waiting till Saturday morning to do this. Good luck everybody and see you on line Saturday Morning, com say hi , I'll have a black Oasis cap on.

What did you mean by there was no Will-call pickup line? Was this at the theater which means that we need to queue up with everyone else before the movie?
I plan to pickup my pass at 9am on Saturday and then proceed to the theater.

I plan to pickup my pass at 9am on Saturday and then proceed to the theater. The Walter Reade theater was not giving out passes for the borat movie. Eveyone had to go to Avery Fisher hall. So don't expect the Directors Guild theatre to be holding your passes at the box office ( call ahead just to make sure)

What was the line like for the Borat movie? Did everyone get in? I gave up waiting , 630 show was maxed out and the line for the following 845 show was huge, he was only there for the first showing.

Borat had 150 seats taped off for press. And it's a pretty small theater.
I went and saw a movie on Wednesday called "Vice Guide To Travel" and there was no line at all, granted it was a smaller movie. Last night I saw a preview of the Reno: 911 movie and there was no line for that either.
I mentioned it in another posting that I am a little concerned about the fact that there is a screening prior to "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" on Saturday. I hope they clear the theater out after it and make people leave to get back in line.

I plan on getting there at 8:30ish. If it's quiet then I'll go to a diner or something. I don't imagine it being to crazy that early. Just the diehards I hope.

Someone needs to call the theater and find out. If they are letting people stay from the previous film then we might as well see it and stay in our seats for Oasis.

Everyone seems to a little unorgarnized. The theater won't have much to do with it. It's the CMJ staff running everything. I'm gonna try to duck out of work to catch the Tenacious D screening at the Directors Guild just to scope out the venue a bit.
