and it still sounds mega, it's still fresh, I still listen most of the songs on a daily basis..... fcucking solid album, not one throwaway track. It's weird cos in the last few days I just can't listen to much of the stuff on MG, I rather lsten to LLAB, TIOBI, MOS,GGTIA,MF, LTBL, PMDTW.... DBTT is definetly up there amongst their best

The only other oasis track that has the same effect on me is Hello.

cant believe its been 1 year
none of those songs are AMAZING (comparing to the likes of Live Forever, Slide Away, DLBIA etc), yet they are all consistently good that the album is so addicting, and much better than the last 2 albums, possibly even the last 3.....
come on lads, crank out another next year!!!!!!!

none of those songs are AMAZING (comparing to the likes of Live Forever, Slide Away, DLBIA etc) I'd say TUTS & LLAB are both way up there with Live Forever & Slide Away. The only track that I absolutely can't stand on DBTT is LTBL...pure utter rubbish! Should've been Eyeball Tickler instead.

they fucked up LTBL
its too boring. It's amazing when Noel comes in, but he only sings once. If he came in again, and made it a proper ballad, then it would be amazing
LLAB is amazing when it explodes around the na nas

Overall a very good album
Yeah, there's something with LTBL that's just not right. Don't really know what it is.... but I still respect the song.

DBTT has certainly had the longest run of freshness of any Oasis album...since Morning Glory actually. I always get jacked for Oasis albums when they come out and think they're the best thing ever. The true test is how long before I shelve the album for a good amount of time. DBTT is still going strong on my ipod. SOTSOG, Be Here Now and Heathen Chemistry weren't being played nearly as much 1 year after release.

MF is fucking great, different to any other oasis song, LLAB is also very different and is cool as fuck, the same goes to GGTIA. MOS is a great rocker, TIOBI is one of the best songs of the decade... I love ABWR I really like a lot LTBL, it's beautiful, liam's voice is amazing, so is noel's part. it's slow and I think I like it being slow. it's a BEAUTIFUL song.... overall I love this album and I do think it's up there next to MG, maybe just not as good as DM

TIOBI is now one of my alltime favorites. Best song on the album, it will be the only song that endures off DBTT for me.
Maybe with LTBL or Lyla being an exception. I think LTBL could've been better, but Noel just slapped it on there to placate Sardy and Liam. It sounds incomplete. As do most of the songs (including Lyla), not many hooks in them. I think Noel worked to hard to depart from past style, and the result isn't really Oasis the way we know them. I like Sardy, I think he's good for the band and did all he could ... and he really represents the fans, but Noel just wasn't into the past formula (which is understandable).
I do think at some point Noel will reunite with Owen Morris. I'd be willing to bet Liam is pushing for it, because he connects Morris with the band's best music. If not Morris, I would like to see Death In Vegas get involved. I didn't feel that way before, but after DBTT, I think it's time to bring in people who want to resurrect the real Oasis sound that we all love - and what they play in concert. I'm really hoping they aren't going to be a nostalgia act in 10 years, playing Indian casinos and state fairs.
DBTT is still a good listen from time to time, just not like DM and MG, or even BHN, which is a perverse pleasure.

Turn Up The Sun is one of the most exciting Oasis songs ever. It always gets my blood pumping. Live and recorded.

KTDA!!!
Top album indeed, I agree with most of you about LTBL however, not a very good album closer... and it's a shame really, because they threw away one of Liam's BEST vocals in years... if they put more energy into the song (as Liam wanted) then it would have been great... but Noel wanted it to be a weaper and he wins out, he's The Chief
