Setlist... similar to previous nights: 1) f'ckin in the bushes 2) turn up the sun 3) lyla 4) bring it on down 5) morning glory 6) cigs and alcohol 7) importance of being idle 8) masterplan 9) songbird 10) a bell will ring 11) acquiesce 12) live forever 13) mucky fingers 14) wonderwall 15) champayne supernova 16) rock n roll star ----------------------------------- 17) guess god thinks im abel 18) meaning of soul 19) dont look back in anger 20) my generation
highly energised gig. the crowd was really into it... the boys seemed a bit slow to get into it but were in full swing by the end. liam was in top form... wearin a white jacket. gem was heaps into it... as was zac. but noel looked bit bored (until he bagged out our cricket team. but then he redeemed himself and wished our football team good luck in the world cup). andy was a joke. just a blank look on his face all nite and his sunnies was hiding something.
liam's mic cut out in turn up the sun (although i was barrier and couldnt notice cause of the crowd).
rock n roll star was by far the best.
other highlights included lyla, bring it on down, cigs and alcohol (which he dedicated it to george best, and changed the words to "cigarettes and football" in the chorus like wembley), acquiesce...
im buggered off my chops and gota do it all again tomorow.

was a great nite.....liam n noel where entertaining as always
"this one's for the fookin backpackers" "i came here for the weather man not you lot" "is there anyone here our age or is it all just fookin kids"
not sure either but looked like liam tried to kiss noel on the back of the head while leaving at the end of his song...i guess those rumours that they fightin are crap as usual.

the rumours are not crap as liam himself admitted Noel's not talking to him but I guess Liam wants to get over it

just before noel played mucky fingers... he said "this one's for the kids. we will play one for the grown ups tomorrow". does that mean he is gona change the setlist? the crowd was chanting "super-sonic" for a while, and also, they played supersonic in the sound check. i hope they do. anyways... im off to the gig. report back in 10 hours haha

Greatest gig ever, the crowd got really into it, especially when the tamborine got thrown in and the girl got smashed by 30 year old men, Rock n Roll star was the highlight though

That was a sensational gig!! Had soo much fun...it was alot better than the brissie gig, although it was very good itself...
but was awesome to be frontish row this time, directly in front of liam, although all i could do was sing coz the mosh was too squashed up to jump...there seemed to be an abundance of young girls front row that got smashed when they started!!
the quotes liam and noel did were similar to brissie, but they made them shitloads funnier.
looking forward to seeing photos and possible recordings of the gig

i saw at least 10 girls get pulled out. i was one of em girls up front which was amazing cos the band was so close! the crowd got into it, but a bit too rough for me. i dunno, i guess thats part of it, but i just hated the fact i had to so often divert my attention on trying not to get squashed by older people. its the first time i saw them live so i was very much 'woah' the whole night. god, liam looked so fuckin cool, he just stares down the audience. i mean, i have seen concert footage but seeing it in real life blew me away. i wish noel had looked slightly less bored, just as an audience member you feel slightly bad if its a chore for them. liam and gem seemed like they were enjoying htemselves - i loved watching gem mouthing the words in champagne supernova, and liam strutting about (he looked so gorgeous! mad sideburns though! noel looked like he was from the 70s with his shirt. but in a good 70s way =P). zak was fantastic....they really are brilliant live.

same setlist, but they just played talk tonite instead of masterplan... last nite was so much better than monday's gig. they were well into, especially gem and liam. i just came back from the airport then (theyre leaving for melbourne) and spoke to the band. noel was grumpy. he reluctantly signed my setlist and dbtt vinyl... but liam was soo approachable. i was strugglin to come up with things to say, but he kept the conversation going. then gem came over and he was madferrit too. such nice blokes. liam is the dogs bullocks!
