Sunday Morning Call and All Around the World were both played live but coincidentallly both were dropped from setlists forever BEFORE they were released as singles.

Not only was All Around The World played live, but it was awesome. they put a whole new 4 minute ending to it, Noel doing some jamming on the guitar. Check out the Gmex bootleg. Those were the guitar hero days.

I thought Columbia is called Columbia because the song is about cocaine. And Columbia is famous for its Cocaine.

Explain this. What is a double A side anyway?
B-sides were called b sides b/c they were the flip side to a vinyl 45.
She Is Love was an A side half b/c it was also on album? When played on radio did they play LBL then 'She is love' back to back? Was there a video to 'She Is love'?
Seems like a strange technicality.
Oh Well whatever!

I just can't believe that I saw them THREE TIMES on this tour and I didn't get to experience Acquiesque, or GGTIA (not to mention SCYHO) ... pretty unbelievable. (MSG, Tweeter, Narrows)
I was disappointed that they didn't do GGTIA at SI

Did She is Love or Little by Little ever get played on the radio much in the UK? That was a pretty weak release if you already have the album. All you get extra is my generation live.

Very true, I thought that took the piss actually. They called it a double A-side but they only made a video for LBL and SIL received no promotion or radioplay whatsoever - so what was the point? It just filled up the single. It's tempting to think that they were running out of songs by then, as the B-sides for the next single - Songbird - also included a live version of a previously released track (Columbia). I think on the LBL/SIL single they should have at least included a new, original song as the B-side.

I've got that single... It's actually My Generation in studio... Sounds solid too... But it's not an original song, so I'd definately have preferred more...

Basically, having a Double A Side single these days pretty much just means that both songs off the album are allowed to be played on the radio and stuff. Some bands also do a video for both songs. However, in the case of oasis, they didn't make one for She Is Love, and consequently, most people probably didn't even notice it was a double A side. Seeing as how these days videos are so important.
