I doubt it, and that's a shame - we could have had 3 successive number ones on our hands! Still, it should not struggle to make the top 4.

It might you know.
Shame about the video because the Idle video really helped the song, whereas this is one of Oasis poorest efforts.
Oasis stock is as high as its been for a LONG time, so a 3rd number one could be attainable!

Well, I will be in the UK that Monday, so I'll stop and pick up the single on my way to the airport (both cd and vinyl versions)! You are absolutely right about the video, Liverpudlian. I hope somehow the single defies expectations.

I agree, the video is lame. but is it getting a lot of airplay and exposure on the uk radio? I think that's very important

I hope it goes to number 1 in ther UK-no chance in Australia!
I listen to Radio one online (Aussie Radio is pretty dire) and heard the 1 minute silence for rememberance day on Jo Wiley's show. After the silence they immediately played LTBL-It was spine tingiling.
I like the video-it's what the band needs particularly overseas. I think the song has more chance of being played outside the UK as it has universal appeal. What better to show how massive oasis are still, playing these mega stadiums. TIOBI had a very clever clever video but it was never played in Australia so what did did it do them here? Go for the simple approach to win back fans.

I can see Let There Be Love being the lowest chart entry since sunday morning call.

Apart from the screaming crowd in the start, they use the radio edit in the video right?

I agree the video is absolutely terrible. I don't think the concert type stuff suits a song like LTBL, the look just doesn't suit it. They should've done something along the lines of the video for Stand By Me or maybe Champagne Supernova.

It might you know. Shame about the video because the Idle video really helped the song, whereas this is one of Oasis poorest efforts. I dissagree, when i was watching the video i thought it was brilliant, it not so much the video its the contents, watching the video made me think, fuck me! i was one of those people watching Oasis at this amazing gig with all of these thousands of people. And I wanted to go back to manchester just for a few minutes and relive what I witnessed before me on the 30th June 2005

I also beleive, because of the sheer beauty and brilliance of the song it will reach number 1.

The hell with the Pussy Cat Dolls. They are a bunch of Spice Girls without any spice. Besides the lead singer, the others are all nasty.
Oasis will pull it off.

I think it will make No 1 as its the only one of the album my wife likes - she says it's "lovely". She also likes wonderwall but other than that can take or leave oasis-see what I have to put up with!

On the UK iTunes Top 100 chart, LTBL is currently at #21, whereas Pussycat Dolls' Stickwitu (what a shit name for a song, FFS) is up at number 4.
However, LTBL is climbing rapidly. It was at number 35 48 hours ago...

I reckon Pussycat Dolls are the only ones that could eventually keep oasis off no.1. maybe sean paul also? I dunno if he's that big in the UK??

As much as I want 3 Oasis no. 1s in a row, it won't be. It's not being played regularly enough on the radio, and I think it'll only get to no. 3
