ME! i'd been talking about how cool it would be to get to finally see oasis live, and lamenting their lack of appearance in singapore, but hadnt thought much would eventuate from all my wishful thinking and so upon returning from my holiday in Sweden in the june holidays to my absolute shock, i found that i had recieved an email from a friend of mine stating that she'd gotten me a ticket to the gig on the 28th in sydney.... i think my jaw dropped so far down that it pprobably defies physics...anyway, turns out she'd tried to contact me but couldnt get a hold of me...and so yes! apparently she was online at 4.30 am (signapore time) jsut so she could get tickets. good thing to cos they sold out pretty fast (30 mins i heard?) the insane thing is my parents were even more suprised than i was, but amazingly said i could go (dont you love frequent flyer points!? =D) so thats my little story about it. its jsut so surreal, im in the middle of term and doing assessments and im getting to just pop down to sydney for 4 days, meet up with some good friends and see my first ever oasis concert. i've been obsessed with this band for years now, and to think im actually gonna see them live.... im so excited!!!!! ;D and to add to all of this, i havent been back to aus for about 3 1/2 years. and you know what im looking forward to apart from oasis, friends and shopping? donuts. i know its random as fuck but you cant get a decent donut in singapore oooh and the beach! god i miss aussie beaches. there is like, one in signapore. which has imported sand, and a view on oil tankers and boats in the harbour -.- wow. im babbling. i'll stop. but its kinda warranted considering how ecstatic i am!!!

Going NEXT Tuesday!! Can't wait. Second time Iv'e seen them since Iv'e been in OZ.
Not a thing about them here though, not heard them played on the radio so hopefully there will be some media attention in a few days.
Mada a request(LTBL) on a Sydney Radio station and the guy on the phone asked me how much I payed for tickets to the show as theya re going on ebay for $300. Said he would play them sometime this week.

I wouldn't try parking at the venue ozfan2... its gonna be packed I doubt there'd be parking outside fox too
I'd say your only options were to get there early, or park on a sidestreet somewhere and walk... or public transport

RnR Star is spot on, public transport is your friend when it comes to travelling to the Horden/SCG/SFS/Fox
and yes the gigs are on Monday and Tuesday night..... not Sunday!! ;D
