Thanks webster... I like it, although not nearly as much as TIOBI. I dunno, maybe they're making a tongue-in-cheek homage to the drunken hooligan fans climbing all over each other at the gigs with setting "Let There Be Love" to images of them pogoing, doing crazy shit, being hauled off by security, etc? Just my thoughts...
Makes me really, really want to go to a UK stadium gig though
(oh, btw... link only works in MS IE, not Mozilla or Netscape)

I like it I guess. I guess it would be the best if it was the actual song they were singing, BUT the crowd would be subdued.
I'm to old for concept videos unless it's 'Smack My Bitch Up'!!!!
Rather just see the boys onstage with some random shots of the crowd or backstage.
Still don't like the radio edit though.

well the video is perfect... for a rocker! THIS should have been the video for Keep The Dream Alive, it would fit perfectly! But for Let There Be Love?! The song was screaming for some "concept" footage ala... let's say Don't Look Back In Anger. I think the song will be a big hit (it's the most "radio friendly" song on the album), probably no.1, but this video ain't helpin at all...

I agree 101% (except for it being the most radi-friendly song, I dunno about that). This would have been the ideal kind of video for Keep The Dream Alive. I bet they just knocked this out through sheer laziness (Noel probably went "Another video? Ah fuck it, just throw some concert footage together). The fact they never played the song live either makes it doubly ridiculous.

It's almost like a farewell video.
I like it, just not sure it goes with the song.

I expected more a video like All Around The World, maybe something like Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, but this is not very exciting. though i was actually in the crowd...

Good call Madben, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it.
However, everyone is saying they should have put this footage with Keep The Dream Alive or another song. I think it is the beauty of the video that images are of more upbeat songs while the music is slow and melodic. I agree it would have worked well with Keep The Dream Alive, but I think this is incredible nonetheless. It leaves you with almost an emptiness because there is none of the huge sound from those stadium shows, and you drift away into the chords. The song is just brilliant though, so they could have done anything for a video and I probably would be in love with it.
Not a huge fan of the radio edit at all though.
Crossing my fingers like everyone else for show top notch shows over here early 2006.

I know they were touring but this really is a piss poor effort.

made me feel sea sick it was soooo jerky, the slow motion is simply painful i thought it was ridiculously jerky too...maybe it's just cos it's a streamed version...maybe the actual one isn't so jagged...the way the images are it makes more sense to smooth it out.
