I know theres been no official confirmation yet of an Oasis release for Christmas but I came acroos this while doing my betting for the weekend:

I've taken a wee punt at 66-1 in the hope that we get a release. If a release is announced i'm sure those odds will probably drop to maybe 11-1 or so.

So what does everyone reckon. Will we get a Christmas release from the boys? Theres still the possibility of 2 more singles from DBTT and with Noel bringing up the possibility of a stand alone single as well, then given the good reception and number one status the first 2 singles have received I think Let There Be Love may be released in December for maximum exposure.

I'd love to see Oasis at christmas number 1 but I don't think it'd happen. The songs that get to Christmas number 1 are usually one-off type songs that sell a lot more than any recent Oasis single. There'll probably be some shitty novelty song. I think they should release Let There Be Love either before, or after Christmas to get it to number 1. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it getting to number 1 at Christmas.
