It seems like from what I have been reading from all the reviews since the kroq (LA) show that Liams voice has been decent? Maybe the Houston break helped?

the more you read fan reviews, the more you realize the subjectivity. where ppl were sitting, their state of mind, if they were drunk. if they were big fans or casual fans. who they had sitting around them. etc.
i was in the front row one night, and liam could've been shit and it wouldn't have mattered. but if you're sober sitting in the back, it's totally different.
bottom line - knowing that the band is playing about every night, ppl shouldn't expect artistic perfection, especially when it comes to liam's vox. it's more about the experience of seeing the band in person - and hearing the songs we've played so many times in our cars, homes, etc. having those songs comes alive. it's a surreal experience - for the real fans. for casual fans, it's not so impressive, but i don't really concern myself with them anymore. i stopped trying to convert ppl long ago.
getting caught up in critiquing the shows kind of takes away the magic of the experience, unless the band is blatantly unprofessional, which, besides i think imola italy (liam walking off - think his voice died), hasn't happened, amazingly, on this tour, which is a huge credit to the boys (especially considering the adverse conditions of the some of the shows, especially here in the u.s.).
5-10 years ago, in several cases in the u.s., they might've melted down. but they've grown up, and are making a great go of it. i hope the tour is encouraging them to carry on. more specifically, i hope it's encouraged noel, since we already know the other 3 want oasis to continue until they croak.

i just listened to the old radio 1 acoustic versions of up in the sky and shakermaker and supersonic from 93/94 and his voice is amazing there. it only got worse ever since. though i loved his voice during the 97/98 BHN tour

I'd rather hear liam than jagger

I think liam voice depends on how passionate he is. On the current tour his voice has been great and i think that on some part its because the new songs he is singing are better
