I'm determined to see the Sydney shows. Never been to Australia, if anyone has any travel advice - on general customs, hotels, rental cars, how the gigs are there, please chime in. I'm fookin' clueless on everything Down Under, but I'm thinking it'll be a mega time. And also, I don't have tickets yet, if anyone has ideas about that, please post them. Brokers, scalping, etc. Thanks. (If no one else here knows about this stuff, no worries)

advice... hmm... DONT COME! WE GOT ENOUGH FOOKIN IMMIGRANTS THANKYOU VERY MUCH! haha nah jk. im from oz. i live in sydney and are goin to both the shows. it will be good man. lots of poms in sydney so u will feel at home + better weather. the hordern pavilion (where the gig is at) is typically a rock venue. it holds about 8,000. its where coldplays dvd was filmed. ive been there heaps of times (coldplay, chemical brothers, prodigy, velvet revolver, powderfinger). its a top venue. and its close to the city too. and good public transport all around. if you want. u can add me to msn and we can chat more about it. scott_tj85@hotmail.com. i work in the city everyday and its mega. you will love it ...now i just gota go collect some cash from sydneys tourism board for all that plugging. haha. nah... its a normal city. as good as london. paris. new york. that sorta thing. and its a billion times better than melbourne!

You can still get tickets for the Perth show with the Foo Fighters and Kaiser Chiefs. Tickets are only about 30 pounds so it's a good deal.
Otherwise just get a direct plane ticket to the Sydney shows and stay at backpackers for a few nights. If you need any more help, shoot me a PM and I'll give you some more tips.

Don't bring in any bird products and you'll be fine
Also bring a ton of sunscreen , it's starting to heat up
